Watching your vid and hearing it through my own AS2200. I notice you also had AS1100's bigger brother AS2100 next to it. Did you ever compare them?
Yes l have both of them as 2200 has toroidal transformer
Great video, I own this amp l, I found found after running it in the sound opened up considerably in terms of soundstage and depth.

Not to different from each others they got the power 90watts but clean plus it's considered as top line of Yamaha either as 1100 or as 1200 😎

@@dawaniali801 has internal DAC EES SABRE accessed via usb, 1100,1200,2100 etc has not .
801 has digital In ports toslink and coaxial ,1100,1200 etc has not.
801 has more power100 watt/channel,theoretically as 1100 has 105watt/chanel ,officially rated at 90watt/channel.
Strong pros for 1100, bigger power supply it has 16000 micro x 4 cappacotors 801 has 12000 x 2 ,801 is more versatile and can be connected with many modern devices 1100 can be too but only analogue or you need to buy an external DAC .
As1100 owner. No need better...

How do you like it compared to your Pioneer SA-9800? I would think the Pioneer has even better bass.
Ha that's one million dollars question sa1100 has different taste 👅 pioneer is the double price for me l would go to Yamaha

I'd like to add that playing music from a streamingservice on this amp is herecy, unless you have access to a high quality service.
I have this amp, but the silver, and i only play either CD's or records, no other sources of music is allowed to be connected.
Nice to see your message l love the silver never sell it its easy to connect streamer (Wiim mini music streamer try it but u need simply DAC u will forget the cd 💿 and records 👍🏻
