  • God does not wait for us to respond to him. Whoever he loves, he has always loved. And no one can resist his love.

All thing in heaven and earth has been created by the Father through the Son. If we were all in Christ before the foundation of the world and crated by Him and all things will be returned to Him, were we all not predestinated to be eventually reconsiled to Him.

    Calling all Calvinists!
How do you feel about the eternal suffering of the nonelect?
-- Joy? (maybe because it glorifies Jesus or they deserve it so much)
-- Sorrow? (maybe because the suffering of any living thing -- no matter how just or necessary -- is regrettable and reason for sorrow)
-- Indifference (you have no feeling about the matter, and there is no Biblical warrant that you should)

No matter if you are a Calvinist or not if you believe in a God, there are rules that God holds. There are many things in the bible that Christians don't agree with but people have to remain faithful to the Lord. For Calvinist, if believing in eternal suffering for the nonelect should bother them, they don't care because it's God choosing, whether the Calvinist agrees with it or not. Hence in any religion/denomination there might be rules, acts, or doctrines that someone might not totally agree with or understand but the whole point it to stay faithful and believe that it is correct. Plus we are humans, we constantly change our minds and opinions, so "how do we feel", shouldn't matter

      OK, Abiam:
      I'm still curious about your personal answer;
How do *you* feel about the eternal suffering of the nonelect?

Or, God *Hated* You Before Time Began!
To Calvinists: that means that every time *you* have a kid, *you* are playing with *their* fate in a way that is *totally* beyond their control.
And, since I assume we agree most people are not saved, that is presumably true of these children that *you* presumably love but God *may very well ALREADY hate.*
*Why* would *you* do that? It is one thing for God to *create things for Himself to hate,* it is rather different that *you* would force children of yours to face such a danger.

It is our moral duty to either continue our species or to devout ourselves to singleness for the Kingdom of God.
The point is to fulfill your duty regards of the result.

      Vemes:
      Really?
Do you feel obligated to procreate and thus place your offspring in serious jeopardy beyond their control, at no fault of theirs, just because God may already hate them and intend to punish them with eternal suffering forever just for an infinitesimal increment to His already infinite glory?
You don't even love your *own* children, much less your enemies!
