@@baked_on_kush_cakes8752 RBs are way cooler than JZs. The RB really is a race engine. The JZ is a super over built sedan/tourer engine. So of course the RB is gonna be somewhat less reliable, but the upsides definitely outweigh the downsides.

Adam plz read!!! The Dominican Republic is great and a wonderful place and by all means you should go, but there are several things to be noted: 1 - Roads outside of any major city (Santo Domingo, Punta Cana, Puerto Plata) are literally rock crawling trails (not exaggerating). If you are not on a "highway" that is connecting cities, there is zero maintenance and you will need a truck or raised vehicle to navigate those such roads. 2 - If you plan to leave a resort and go explore, you must be with a Spanish speaker or preferably someone who knows the area and speaks Spanish. 3 - Thievery is very common, be careful where you drink, and overall be cautious your surroundings. 4 - Bring crisp and fresh US Dollars. I know it sounds weird, but if you can speak with a local shop owner (not the airport currency exchange) they value clean bills more then heavily circulated. Also try and haggle to get the most for your exchange. 5 - There is a car scene in the Dominican Republic, although not typical it's pretty cool. They value their imports, mainly older jap and chinese, but I did see a full bolt-on Camaro there last time I went. There are drag strips as well but, the most important thing are stereo systems. Almost everyday you go out there will be someone with a 100,000,000,000 watt amp and literal stadium speakers hanging out the back of there 2004 impreza hatchback and or civic hatch blasting music and the daily news. I shit you not. 6 - Finally, be careful and always watch for motorcycles. Law are almost non existent, people drink while on their bikes, carry more than 3 people on a single bike, I saw 2 people haul a mattress on pretty much a pit bike, it's nuts. There's is plenty more and I have no prob telling.

Mako hose and rubber in west palm beach has your m10×1.0 PTC air fittings. We have anything you may need. You can take the adapter out of the turbo, and put the correct fitting in so you dont have stacked fittings.
Darkside1355 you do realize that in order for a vehicle to pass smog it needs emission systems installed?? That’s the biggest issue and why California legal r32gtr’s cost so much. It’s costs around $10k on top of vehicle cost to have an r32 California legal. It would probably pass smog straight from Japan but without the emission system it won’t pass the visual inspection when they pop the hood to look for it lol. Plus with upgrading the turbo and everything else that’s being done all parts would have to come with carb legal stickers or it won’t pass as well. That’s commiefornia for ya.
Darkside1355 also it doesn’t matter if the vehicle was smog’d in another state it still has to pass a smog test in California to be registered. I just seen the law changed as when I swapped my sr20 in my s13 back in Missouri I couldn’t register it California when I moved here but In California an engine can be swapped as long as it’s from the same class of vehicle and has to be newer than the vehicle. The old law was an engine couldn’t be swapped with a JDM engine unless the vehicle was originally sold in California from the dealer with it. I don’t remember which series gtr this is from but if it’s from an r32 it will not even pass a bar inspection which would allow it to be smog’d also it has to retain all the emissions equipment from the donor vehicle so as this didn’t come with it it will cost at least $10k or more to get an emissions system installed and state Bar’d (inspection) so it Could be smog’d.

When I went to the Bahamas, a lot of people have modded their cars and there are a lot of sick Japanese cars that I’ve seen driving around. Their style is different to the us. It’s cool to see
i work at a granite shop, and our cnc uses those push lock connectors for the vacuum pods that hold the pieces in place on the machine, you dont need to cut the ends off every time. the o ring is past the jaws, so being a little rough there doesnt effect the seal of the line. those lines are pretty strong
I work with those type of lines every day in an industrial setting on packaging machines. We run those same type of fitting and lines up to 150 psi. You do not need to cut them every time they get disconnected, but it IS very important that the end is cut straight and not at a slant otherwise they will leak. That is pretty common sense tho
Yeah those fittings are called shark fittings, we use them alot for aftermarket air suspension. I'd recommend trimming the hoses as well. But just spray some soapy water or use a smoke detector to check for leaks
The pushlock fittings are pretty common. We have used them on alot of compressed air in the factory I work in for over 10 years. They say you should cut off the tip of the hose to reseal them properly, but it`s not that neccessary. We don`t do it at my job. You will hear when the tip is worn out, since it will not hold the air inside the hose.

Platinum racing products in Australia make a great coil pack upgrade using the built in ignitor r35 coil packs with a loom that will plug straight up to the harness plug on all Rb25/26 setups even the neo.
Hey Adam one of your best ways to get the cars to PR is by getting in touch with Drag Race guys headed to the Island for an event and buy in to spot on the shipping container package deals they get. and from there if you want to go to DR you can go on the Ferry boat so kinda like a cruise boat thing LOL but what Alberto said about the roads is true how ever non the less there are plenty lowered cars there too Id just throw a set of "" Disposable wheels on the car with a bit taller tire

Dominican Republic: There is this awesome resort called the Oasis in Santo Domingo. Buuuunch of stuff to do there. And American money goes a long way there. $50 literally got us the presidential suite. Liquor and whatnot as well. Right next to the ocean which was clear as hell. I don't know what you guys plan on doing but its a fun time my guys.

Who ever told you to cut the lines back was correct. It goes the same with PTC fittings on air ride suspension. Always cut them back every couple times you connect and disconnect them.
@Adam LZ , I work with those type of air lines and couplers everyday at work and after a few times of unplugging and plugging back in they start getting loose so I would say flare the line a hair and they’ll grab allot better and tighter

Also, push lock is hose. PTC (push to connect) is for nylon tubing like you're using.
