I can't see anyone else voice acting Eggman, Mike Pollock just fits his character so well! I think the same thing about Griffith Sonic and Shadow. Roger Craig Smith is a good Sonic, and Kirk Thornton's performance as Shadow definitely saw an improvement in Forces, don't get me wrong, but Jason Griffith fit both of them perfectly, Shadow in particular. It's just not the same now.
It’s like people think that voice actors have to be super serious and sound their best ALL THE TIME. It’s clear that these three, especially Mr. Smith and Thorton are simply having fun with this, and aren’t taking any of it seriously. This isn’t the same as them doing work for a video game, and Shadow sounds A LOT better in Forces. It’s all about the right direction, and these guys were literally just having some laid back fun here. Give them a break. Plus, it’s clear that Thortorn is hamming it up for maximum, edgelord meme effect.

Of all the voice actors in the Sonic series to be the longest in the game series is Mike Pollock who been playing eggman since sonic x.

Dr.metal warrior I can’t help but agree even so I’ve always loved Pollock as Eggman, even tho technically the first I’ve heard was Bristow, Pollock really brought so much life into the character even back when he voiced him in Sonic X
I can't see anyone else voice acting Eggman, Mike Pollock just fits his character so well! I think the same thing about Griffith Sonic and Shadow. Roger Craig Smith is a good Sonic, and Kirk Thornton's performance as Shadow definitely saw an improvement in Forces, don't get me wrong, but Jason Griffith fit both of them perfectly, Shadow in particular. It's just not the same now.
russell butler personally I prefer David Humphrey a bit more even though I will agree Griffith is pretty good and Thornton is vastly improving

It’s like people think that voice actors have to be super serious and sound their best ALL THE TIME. It’s clear that these three, especially Mr. Smith and Thorton are simply having fun with this, and aren’t taking any of it seriously. This isn’t the same as them doing work for a video game, and Shadow sounds A LOT better in Forces. It’s all about the right direction, and these guys were literally just having some laid back fun here. Give them a break. Plus, it’s clear that Thortorn is hamming it up for maximum, edgelord meme effect.
