You saved me hours of scrubbing today, thanks! I encountered my first house with shotgun fungus and got to have my own teaching moment with the homeowner, haha
Hey love this video I believe treating the customer with respect and being courteous and teaching them something goes along way and the customer will remember that and it makes all the difference in the world and they probably will call you back and word of mouth is absolutely free and build a business. Thank you sir. 😊
You can get rid of the artillery fungus without scrubbing and I have a suggestion that can remove it during the wash process with chem injection. I've used Meguiar's Quick Detail for years - ZERO scrubbing, no scraping. Spray it on wait a minute and wipe with microfibre cloth. Will come back with the mulch - esp bagged - but it remove it without any effort Researched what the chemical in the detailler spray contains and its basically Propylene Glycol (ingredient in antifreeze) and Propoxypropanol (which is an alcohol - not rubbing or isoproponol). My guess is that if you add it to the washing solution it should theoretically remove the dots just by a low pressure rinse - the concentration of the chemicals to the injector/downstream has to be figured out. Friend is a chemist and he can scan the Meguiars and get the concentrations of each chemical. Haven't tried it yet on my house but if I can get chem samples I'm pretty sure it will work. Used the Meguiars for years on my painted Hardiboard siding and it never removes any paint or changes the sheen. Unlike scraping, scrubbing pads or Magic Eraser which can degloss paint or even pull it up.
I can pop off about 10-15 % of the Artillery Fungus spores by getting the blade of a sharp knife just so against the spore and "flicking" it out of the siding - roots and all. Unfortunately, most spores require two steps... using an awl or a knife tip to first dig out the spore head and then scrape out its roots. Once you know about artillery fungus you can watch for its growth in your mulch and remove it before it shoots its spores.
Howdy Mike... off topic, but... can you do a quick video on how you setup your machines to the unloader blocks... including your gate valves and downstream?
Mr. Fresh, What would you do if you encountered a house with no organic growth, soiled with dirt, filthy. Would use SH or a Surfactant on its own or perhaps a degreaser? 💦✍💬
I hope to find time to put it on Jazzy soon. As you probably know, I’ve been in Virginia since the first week of December. Still going back every weekend. Ugh!
I’m going to have some training sessions at home with her. Teach her rig stuff. Especially some general maintenance stuff. This will take some off of me when I get home each night.
Hey Mike ... Great informative video as always... How do I go about ordering the A-frame sign that you have. I would like the exact same sign as yours with my phone number or course. Let me know. Thanks, Brian
@@TheFreshRinse I'm soooooo proud of that young lady! My 78 year old dad still helps me on EVERY JOB! We both are so blessed that God allows us to do this.
The flag is made of polyester or vinyl. Should be fine. I would absolutely respect someone who wanted us to take it down. No questions asked. Because this is a previous customer, my thought was, they knew we were coming. If they wanted it down, they probably would have either removed it or asked me too. Really sweet people.
Fair enough. I was thinking it may have possibly damaged the flag. Many people don’t think thru what a vendor working on the property might require. Great job making videos.
I love how you speak with the customer, Mike. That’s a pro right there!
Just speaking out of genuine care and respect.
Thank you my friend. Like yourself, I wake up each morning hoping to help people. See, I do pay attention to you!

Hey man, that’s awesome! Teaching is the best. We get to educate the homeowner, and it just feels good!

Nice engagement with the customer. I'm taking some notes! Thx for vid.
Thank you my friend!!!

Thank you Brian. I hope to do that more and more.
Hey You've really stepped it up..content is on point...Im hoping to get one of my sons on a wash gun this year...
That means a lot brother. I’m grateful. I’m having a good time with my daughter so far. Good luck!

We do alright together. Thank you sir!

That’s definitely a possibility. What is a gate valve?
Mr. Fresh, What would you do if you encountered a house with no organic growth, soiled with dirt, filthy. Would use SH or a Surfactant on its own or perhaps a degreaser? 💦✍💬
Yes, SH would do the trick. If it’s not greasy, degreaser would be a waste. I’d wash it like normal and go with it.

Can you add the link for the hose? I don't see it. Great video as usual.

Aye, the Fresh knows what he's doing, teaching Squirt how to do the job right to begin with so there no call back because the job wasn't done right.
I pray so! I really stress the idea of a perfect wash. As perfect as we can.
Cool video my man!
You’re only saying that because it’s true. LOL Thank you my friend
Good job once again Squirt n Fresh

It’s hard when your time isn’t your own.
Do you sometimes have issues with weepers and how do you prevent them or address them if a call back?
Yes sir. In the event of weepers, I mist those areas from a distance. We call that “Mistance”. It works every time.
There you go again, being all unfriendly again! Squirt will be running that rig before long man. Congrats on the new addition.

On your xjet / shooter combo… does the xjet pull chem from your injector normally? Thanks!
I’m not using an X-Jet. I may be misunderstanding your question

I think "Squirt" probably her work ethics from her mom! Lol. Mike you make it so easy for me to give you a hard time. Lol

ok so thinking this thru a little bit... wouldnt it have been better to take the American flag down before spraying??

Must have gotten a new camera. It is really hard to watch with the background out of focus.
I’m sorry you are struggling
Sh won’t take that artillery fungus off huh? My house is covered in it 🤦♂️
It will not, sadly. Replacing the mulch is your only real option. Thank you for watching.
