Actually I couldn't agree more!
This type of food or when a man/woman puts their everything in what they do so they can support their family or because they love it..,should have an equal pay at least! Though in greece,(and I believe in many other countries) hard work never counts except if the job you are doing is for the government or if you own a very famous local or tourist shop, etc. Even then it may change your life only a little but... Didn't want you to miss it if you could have access to the place. Convey love from a fellow human🙂
I don't know how to spell it property but galaktoboureko is my favourite thing on the who planet nothing even comes close. When l was growing up our land lady was Greek. And her and her husband couldn't have kids so ahead bey good to me. Every Greek dish sh cooked was beyond words. But that dessert was my favourite. It was like an Angel dancing on your tongue. Beyond description 💓💓💓💓
Aww man I would've loved to taste the sweets that he makes if only I wasn't like 5000 km away from Greece and stuck in a pandemic

God bless this family for their determination and passion to preserve the art of phyllo making. It is like religion.
Συγχαρητήρια στο κύριο που ακόμα αντέχει και είναι γερός. Λίγοι αγαπάνε και πορώνονται έτσι με τη δουλειά τους.
I lived next to them, they are awesome people, they used to give me free baklava etc all the time, they raised me. Great people.
If you still know where to reach them, you should make them a GoFundMe. Seems like many in the comments would donate including myself
@@jsmooooov very well said
Nice idea!
@Bobby no they aren't rich. He said 12 kilos of banclava 60 euros that a lot of work and a small amount of money
Go found me my dude. So they can retire and enjoy the rest of their lives having fun.

"How do we show that this guy is a engineer?"
"I dunno, just have him measure a random doorway."
That’s hilarious!
Underrated
HAHHAHAH
He's probably doing work on the house. Nothing "random" about it, mate. The crew is there to film what they're doing.
@@whitedragon9731 It is random
These people have my biggest respect, keeping up that Important Tradition!!! Well done❤
Been there in 2012, it seems like time has stood still these lovely people still look just the same as back then. Can confirm they make the best Baklava or filo pastry i've ever eaten. The bakery is on the isle of Crete though wich is a Greek island, from what i understand after being there this is a subtle difference Crete people would like you to know.
i came to see how they made that dough stand up not to cry insider
Could you be any more on point
Right 😭
I wasn't ready
😭😭😭😭
This bakery is a 5 minute walk from my house. Its such a beautiful thing to have great people like him and his family so close to you. Beautiful!
Do you know if they would send the baklava per Post? It should stay fresh couple of days, shouldn't it?
@@bolchert I dont think so unfortunately... you will have to come and taste it for yourself! I will ask them though...
That is so cool! I wish I could do something to help financially support them.. Unfortunately I'm all the way in the US.... But if there was a way, I would totally donate.
Please, tell us which city this is? From a very curious northern neighbor. I want to safe this place for after Corona trip
Let’s us know if there’s a go fund me made for them!!! ... we can’t travel and see them in person & help keep them afloat... but at least we can use a go fund me & hope it helps !
He is a pure soul, God bless him 🥰😘
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🌹🌹🇬🇷
If u are a tourist just pay him some extra for his hardwork and buy more of his stuff he also needs retirement
Does he looks like a person who takes a handout. ?
@@StarkNetwork666 Pardon my english
He would be happier if you bought more of his stuff than just taking pity on him I guess.
He literally said it keeps him alive. ..
@@drakko1635 that's pity too
Age of 87 he is working hard. Sometimes I am tired on my 44+ but after watching this video I have to change myself. Amazing 👌👍
I do hard work and there’s some older folks I’ve worked with that inspire me, I hope if I’m doing something like that at that age that I love it like This feller
The secret are those lentils she was cooking.
I just retired at 56 with 25 years after working in nursing and then medical administration. I would have much rather done this that arguing with irate patients, and arguing with insurance and pharmaceutical companies.
@@luvmy64tbird63 apples and oranges though, he’s 87 and I don’t think they make a whole lot of money
@@fungdark8270 sometimes the money really wasn't worth it. I loved my jobs, but people are so damned cruel and arrogant nowadays.
what a sweet couple ^^ i wish them good health and fortune
That's what hard work means a beautiful touchy video Iove it thank you I was also tearful ❤❤👍🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷
