It sure is a pretty nifty effect! We've been using often for when you want that embroidered look but on lighter materials or unique items that can't be hooped for an embroidery machine.

Looks GREAT!!!, I'm pitching a 200 peice, 2 location job today. How does it look on something like a high back logotype? Maybe 11x3 with 0.75 srtoke?

Hi Kurt, Im not sure what you mean by a high back logotype, but the simbroidery effect looks best on solid or spot color artwork. For printing minimums, you'll want a minimum stroke of 1.29pt. for UltraColor Max direct to film transfers. Even with our UltraColor Pro, Soft and Stretch transfers the embroidery effect works best on 1pt. or larger.

If I have Port Authority C912, will this type of transfer work for me?

Great Question! With the C912 and the camo pattern on a 60/40 cotton blend you shouldn't have any issues with dye migration, however we have not tested this specific item ourselves.
The only time I've seen dye migration with UltraColor Max direct to film transfers was when it was printed on sublimated polyester.

@@transferexpress UPDATE: I just did a DTF on the C912 with no issues other then I made the transfer just a tad big and had to apply heat a couple times to make sure the whole transfer got proper heat and pressure...
