What job are you most interested in exploring? let me know!
I'm very interested in exploring Guest Experience job 😊
@@laurami8874 That's great! In the hotel there are roles like that in the back office as well as front desk and concierge. They are the most important in delivering valuable experience to our guests, but above that, there are many more!
On the corporate level of brands there are brand managers that create guest experience processes and the customer journey map, identifying pain points and fixing them. As well, creating branded programmes like meeting programmes and tools, private lounges etc. Those are very important and with project management experience and guest service experience you can do that!
What do you think?
@@SavvyHotelier Ofc, personally the thing I love the most about this industry is to create unforgettable experiences for the guests and dealing directly with them... 😁
@@laurami8874 Yeah, that's what I started out with, but at least if one day you want to change, you know you have options!
In addition tho, to give you an example, you could be a personal luxury travel planner (there are agencies that provide services) and really create those experiences for people too.
@@SavvyHotelier Wooooow never heard about it, but sounds like a nice job. Tmo I will continue investigating 😉
i am graduated student in 2021. I just started in the event and logistics department. you have mentioned a good point, which I agree on.

My teacher has shared your videos in to my class and the course is about "introduction into hospitality and tourism". Honestly, I love watching your video and so do my friends. Thank you for making such interesting content!

What the hotels that can apply on for graduated internship?
My first work after i graduated at school was a receptionsit and I’m still at this job for years. From day one until now. My responsibilities and tasks at work have not changed. And for that reason I’m trying so hard to learn english very well and I want to take a certificate in supply or a certificate in professional customer service or anything outside tue scope of the receptionist job. I didn’t go to the university and I don’t want to go there because I’m 25 right so i don’t have so much time to study. Please recommend to me some jobs and some certificates that I can take them in less than one year. Thanks 🙏🏻
I could use some advice.
I've heard that it's possible for some hotels to allow you to stay in the hotel for 1 month and check out and then check back in if they have room and they will not charge you as much of your willing to work for them.
Well, I've found myself in a rather unpleasant situation.
And I do not have my GED. But I am taking GED classes. I'm an adult over 21 but my closest family I've known since birth is all passed away. And I need some temporary housing.
So Id be willing to work in a hotel if they would allow me to stay there for a month or month at a time and take the money I'd owe them per night from the hours I work there. I'm desperate for the time being.
So should I seek emoyment and temporary housing from a motel or hotel?
And what job positions could I possibly do with no GED?
I have experience in working in retail grocery store and western union and a consignment shop and fast food restaurant.
I also have dome odd jobs like cleaning houses etc.
So would they hire me for anything other than a waitress or cleaning lady?
I think hotel are affected by airbnb and new technology it can affect job in future
do you think i could work as an intern at a hotel after i graduate school (idk if it matters but my AP/main subjects are math, sociology and politics, english)? I have very good grades and would be interested in working a bit before studying, but i dont know if its possible this way.
I think so, the most important skill you need is to be able to communicate and socialise with people. You will be doing that a lot so better enjoy it :) Your challenge will be to get that first experience, so start thinking how you can showcase yourself now
When people asked what i do, i said i work in a hotel, straight away they ask or you in minibar, housekeeping or reception?
I said no, im the finance manager, their faces were like eh you have finance in the hotel 😅
What is minimum salary adult industry
Cool video
What's the the value of ehl certificate in hospitality management bachelors?
I have to say I've met a few people that came from Lausanne and in my Hotel these people very steep learning curves
So am doing a traineeship in hospitality management what jobs can you recommend I take after complete my course?
big question! What kind of things are you interested in? What classes do you like the most?
@@SavvyHotelier I just recently starting the course however I love cooking and just one day maybe own a restaurant.
@@lindambele9323 That sounds great :) Keep learning, keep trying new things and experimenting. Will help you find what you like :)
Hello
Hey there great information there! I interned in Food and Beverage Service and now can I work in Front Office?
Or shall I work on F&B and later do the cross training and later apply to it? Thanks and regards.
Hi Suraj, that is one way you can do it exactly. You can try to apply directly for FO roles that are entry-level where they would be willing to train you on the system - as you already have the customer-facing experience. Make sure you empathise that on your application and show that you are willing to learn.
You have to be good at approaching techniques , psyhology and scanning coustumers for front desk.
Hello mam i have completed my bachelors in hotel management and i want to work at casinos where should i apply?

Don't you think hotel are affected by airbnb, and in future it lead job insecurity
What skills required for front office department??
How to prepare for them at home.
Patience and always smile even being faced with difficult customer.
Also train yourself to stand most of the time and of cause, interpersonal skills such as leaning to speak with confidence and smooth tone of voice
@@xysg1 That's a good reply, it is a mentally physically tiring job. When it comes to the skills and knowledge of dealing with software, you can do some learning online to prep but will learn better on the job.
Narrator speaks so fast and with heavy accent, very hard to understand her.
