I found your chañnel right before Christmas and I love your calm, sweet, peaceful way. I have made the paper bag snowflakes with my granddaughters and the wooden bead star ornaments out of some dollar store beads I had. The embroidered felt ornaments next! I recognized your fireplace screen on your last video where you shared your pretty mantle, stockings and tree decorating. I paused the video and photographed and texted your fireplace shot to my mom because she has the exact same screen and ordered it in 1998 from the “Eddie Bauer Home” catalog.
I still have a three-panel-version displayed in front of our fireplace, acquired from Pottery Barn in 1996, which has a more abstract pierced metal pattern than what you ladies’ own…displaying the stags and flowers.
I suppose the Eddie Bauer screen (or whomever made them for Eddie Bauer to merchandise) would qualify as vintage at this point since antiques need to be one hundred years old, but they were being mass-produced and marketed through retail mail order catalogs which is how my mom and I picked out and ordered them.
You have a very lovely, natural, unpretentious style. You would have been attracted to merchandise from the Sundance Catalog of the 90’s, speaking of catalogs 😉, paired with all natural home inspiration articles and photographs from a Martha Stewart Living magazine subscription which were a few examples of ways to get exposure to unique decorating and home styling ideas in the 90’s…long before the days Pinterest, Instagram and UA-cam influencers had become a reality ☺️

I have cats and dogs, one of them is a boxer and the other is a Great Dane, and I really struggle with finding solutions/routines to keep the House as neat as possible, and finding or DIYing beds for them.
