back then when things were more equal financially and the 3 foreigner rule.... alex ferguson and kenny dalglish would have built championhip winning squads at any club. they knew the players to buy. bring back the 3 foreigner rule take away the money (equalize things again) and these foreigner managers would struggle against these guys/manage alex ferguson even in his latter years still preferred to have a predominantly british team, and still won the league with ease with ryan gigs, wayne rooney, darren fletcher, micheal owen, michael carrick, etc.
