Such a beautiful collection! I was so excited when Velvet Dragon came out. Lisa described it as the red used in Chinese pottery and architecture. When I finally received it I was incredibly disappointed. Against my skintone and lip color it looked bright orange. It was so unflattering. I kept it for two years and tried so many times to wear it. I tried using a light hand almost like a stain, I tried it with a dark lip liner underneath, I even tried it with a gloss. I absolutely hated it. As beautiful as the packaging was it just did not work for me. It looks beautiful on you! Im surprised she has come out with a lipstick called cinnebar since that is what she said Velevt Dragon was, lol. Cinnebar looks way more up my alley. May have to try it when my No Buy ends. I also own LE Painterly and its a pretty brown shade but also leans a bit warm on me. That one is super sheer though so I've been able to make it work. Thanks for sharing! Enjoyed this mini series!
Ohhh i'm sorry to hear dragon didn't work for you! Between dragon and cinnabar I can't pick my favorite!! But happy to hear cinnabar did work! Lipsticks are so unique to everyone even among similar skintones. I fon't own painterly but def want to add it at some point. Thank you so much for watching!! 🥰🥰
This is great, I have been looking for Lisa lipstick reviews for tan, olive skin. Perfect. Thank you 😊 What shade do you use in MAC, Bobby brown foundation?
Happy to hear you enjoyed it!! I don't use mac nor bobbi brown, i only purchase cruelty free makeup so I wouldn't know my shade on those brands. In hourglass I'm shade 8 and Charlotte tilbury i'm 6 neutral, hope this helps!
Those are exactly the type of shades that I like, especially the last one. Very pretty.
Happy to hear we have similar tastes!! Thank you so much for watching! 🤎🤎
These are truly my favorite lipsticks and I have a ton. She never disappoints! Great video.
Some of my favorites too! Thank you so much for watching! ❤️
Hi! I love the way you do your makeup, more tutorials focusing in eyeshadow please ❤
I will do so! I'll have a fall makeup look up next week! Thank you so much for watching!! ❤️
