Robots should get a Quality check when losing melee Combat or when shot below half starting strength. Only after failing the Quality check do they start to ‘crumble’. This is HUGE for the Robot Legions.
Fun games guys. Just wanted to point out that the rules for Rending have changed. All attacks that hit with rending give -1 to regen rolls (no longer ignores regen), rolls of 6 give AP4.
I may be wrong here but for deadly (x), if you fail to block/save from the hit, your unit takes x wounds, you don’t roll x dice after you fail to block/save. Am I understanding that correctly, or am I miss reading?
If it was the robots who failed the save they still get a chance at regeneration for each point of damage, at least that's how we've been playing it. The rule is a bit vague. Both OPR and GW use "wounds" and "damage" interchangeably and sometimes it's confusing.
They are Ravaged Star models. @Miniwargamer_dave designed them. He's prepping to launch a campaign to fund the expansion set (including dwarves!) on GameFound. I think you can purchase the original release from their website: ravagedstar.com/

Yeah, I learned of my mistake a couple days later. Oh well.
@@Good.Nuff.Gamingadditionally, snipers with hunter get ap+3 when firing on the round they were deployed. Down with the lazcannon! But good battle.
Yep, forgot that one too. I play too many systems, but I just can't settle on only one.@@ColdinD
Amazing batrep guys!! ❤️

Thanks. We've tried to remember that in future games.
Crazy dice rolls! Famtastic game and I will remember the fear rule, might come in hamdy one day.
Yeah, make sure you remember so you don't lost 75% of the hit points on your Robot Fortress like I did.
3:25 - Death Fortress (a Titan unit for 840 pts) seems to be the proper Monolith 🤔
I think I must have thought that was the cross over for the Tesseract Vault and that's why I used the wrong one.
Looks like those dice need to get melted down!
11:15 - shouldn't that be AP4 (1+3 from Hunter special rule)?
yeah, in between games I realized I forgot that.
The one sad thing is the presence of all these unpainted Havoc models... :(

@@Good.Nuff.Gaming you’re absolutely right, I forgot about regeneration. Thanks for replying 😊
Can't wait to see those models painted! Where are they from?
