There might be 1 or 2 days I’ve had as clear and glassy as this. Beautiful. Funny you mentioned sharks! I was watching thinking, I don’t know what’s better, to see the shark coming or cloudy water surprise attack. I’ve surfed my whole life and understand how low the risk really is! Yet I still can’t help but curling my toes thinking about sharks at least once a session! Typically I keep that to myself because I recognize it’s ridiculous. But then in my hometown break there were 2 attacks in the past two weeks. Still I could probably use a shrink to get over it.
@@SurfingWithNoz thx very much for ya answer. I never came across avid that satisfies me that much. I was born and raised up on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. We've crystal clear water there as well sometimes. But actually spent my teenage years in the wonderful Netherlands. So a lotta waves to surf, but absolutely not high enough. Unfortunately the water there isn't that glassy. Concerning the sharks I know that not every one is dangerous. So if was only the the concern of a "natural mermaid" who wants to swap with you and spent hours in that awesome crystal wet without the unconscious concern of any danger. I envy you 😥😩 ;). Always stay safe and sound and get high waves!
@@dwmueller76 Thank you David! And hahaha man I’m the exact same. I still think about them constantly in the surf, even though I know how incredibly low the risk is. I feel 10x safer in clear sunny water when it’s small and breaking close to shore. Compared to a cloudy bigger day when it’s breaking far out and it’s deeper. But even then, if it really wants you what can us humans do. They’re beautiful and scary creatures, much like the ocean itself. Just gotta respect them and hope for safety each session 🙏🏽🙌🏽
@@Blathnaid.-. haha you’re so welcome man! Thank you for all the kind words 🙏🏽 and your upbringing sound beautiful, Scotland and the Netherlands 💎 Yeah with the shark thing, it’s definitely scary but just gotta have faith in yourself and God (or whatever you believe in) and just remember how low the chances are of anything fatal happening. Congratulations for the quality of the video and the surf, then the color of the water looks like my home, CRYSTAL!I wanted to ask you how do you keep the screen of the cam so clean without drops, they advised me to lick the lens often, a little works, but the drops remain a little ..
Yewww thank you so much Emi!! With the water droplets - the hero 9 and lower I believe the lick/dunk method works best. But with the Hero 10 they have a new technology for the lens and it sucks!! Since licking makes it worse I just keep looking at the lens then rubbing it a few times on my wetsuit between waves as it builds up this weird residue on it. Still not perfect but seems the best solution I can figure our
Bro I need to visit Australia, I live in New Hampshire (northeast United States), so I’ve never really had to chance to surf. The way you have glass clear waves that are this big that close to shore is so amazing.
Way to shred brother! Classy surf is the best surf. I wanted to ask you what mount you use for the gopro and what works best in your opinion. I see guys use a chest mount and some even use the mouth piece. Headed down to surf next week and wanted to get some footage from the best viewpoint. God bless brother!
Thank you so much brother!! Stoked you want to get some footage. It’s the best feeling coming in from a session knowing you scored some clips 🙌🏽💎 With the mount. @@3_too_won hahaha are you serious? You’re still salty that I pretended to not know the spot I was surfing. Just to give you some insight on why I don’t name the spots - let’s start with how many people have seen this video… 280,000 imagine 1% of them live in Sydney area (probably more) then imagine 10% of those 2,800 people want to surf where I am. That’s almost 300 people. Now sure, of course in reality 300 people aren’t going to rock up all at once. But out of respect for the locals and people who live here. I don’t want to share the spots and make them crowded (which again, is very unlikely) but I don’t want to take that risk! Hope that gives you some insight buddy 👍🏽 No need to go around commenting all this negative crap on my page because I’m protecting the spots that you yourself probably surf at too
It sure is brother! The thought of surfing a little moving lump of water and experiencing so much joy from it is actually crazy when you think about it 🤯 very blessed!!

yea i went to palm beachon sunday and saturday and they were really glassy but most the waves closed out, i managed to get a barrle with my boogieboard (i have an injured knee :()
@@SurfingWithNoz yeah bro, it's an experience and a half, i went on a mate's business boat, Freedom excursions or something like that, i was working, on trial as a chef on board for guests, brilliant time, although not as long as I wanted, I would've loved to do a whole season out there, the waves are that good. Maybe you could do the same but as a deck hand, loads of peeps do it and, although hard work, you'll love every minute and come back with stories that no one will have and the way that the points break, freaky, it takes some getting used to though, like i said, it's kinda like getting used to a wave pool
@@SurfingWithNoz hawaii doesn't really appeal to me, too crowded and you have to be on your A game because the locals are protective. I found Tenerife a bit like that too, when it's firing they all come out and the Brazilians 🙄 headache too
@@A_Pt_9298 Mate that sounds epic! Definitely want to go there on a 'business trip' to get content 🙌🏽 would be an absolute dream!! And yeah I guess it depends when/where you surf. I was lucky to get a few spots to myself when I did hawaii 💎 Reef breaks are just something else!!
Another great question! I’ve surfed probably 97% beach my whole life and 3% reef. So I’m more comfortable/experienced in beach breaks. But a good reef break that has perfect waves and you can paddle around it I would way prefer! The only time I’d prefer a beach break is for doing airs. But other than that, reef break all day. Because beach breaks are constantly changing and moving due to the sand. So sometimes (very rarely) the waves are really good. But most of the time the waves are crap and just closeout 🤙🏽

Thank you for all the kind words 🙏🏽 and your upbringing sound beautiful, Scotland and the Netherlands 💎
Yeah with the shark thing, it’s definitely scary but just gotta have faith in yourself and God (or whatever you believe in) and just remember how low the chances are of anything fatal happening. I think you have a way higher chance of getting attacked by a cow or struck by lightning or plane crash haha.
Anyway, I really appreciate your kind words mate and I hope you stay safe too 🙌🏽🤝🏽
I love the glassy sessions
Woooo me too 🤩💎
Congratulations for the quality of the video and the surf, then the color of the water looks like my home, CRYSTAL!I wanted to ask you how do you keep the screen of the cam so clean without drops, they advised me to lick the lens often, a little works, but the drops remain a little ..
Still not perfect but seems the best solution I can figure our
@@SurfingWithNoz thanks so much! thanks for the explanation!🙏
Would rain x work? Idk I'm not experienced in this just a suggestion
Takes me back to my grom days in Florida 🤙🤙 looks like a little skatepark in the water. 🍻
How sick!! Love those little beachy sessions 🔥
That is so glassy
It was a dream 🤩💎
Bro I need to visit Australia, I live in New Hampshire (northeast United States), so I’ve never really had to chance to surf. The way you have glass clear waves that are this big that close to shore is so amazing.
We’re very blessed 🙏🏽
Way to shred brother! Classy surf is the best surf. I wanted to ask you what mount you use for the gopro and what works best in your opinion. I see guys use a chest mount and some even use the mouth piece. Headed down to surf next week and wanted to get some footage from the best viewpoint. God bless brother!
Thank you so much brother!! Stoked you want to get some footage. It’s the best feeling coming in from a session knowing you scored some clips 🙌🏽💎
With the mount. I have a mouth mount and floaty (in case I drop it) made by GoPro. Definitely the best option for POV! Will have to see some of your footage someday 🙌🏽🤝🏽
For NOZ the mouth is the best helps the BS from spewin out .
Hope that gives you some insight buddy 👍🏽
No need to go around commenting all this negative crap on my page because I’m protecting the spots that you yourself probably surf at too
The ocean man , what a damn scary but beautiful body of water
It sure is brother! The thought of surfing a little moving lump of water and experiencing so much joy from it is actually crazy when you think about it 🤯 very blessed!!
Mate what a run and what a spot! The thing that got me is that you were completely alone the whole time! Mustn’t have been big enough for the locals?! Haha Great footage - also loved the Jellyfish cameo! ✌️👏
Thank you so much mate!! Yeah all the locals were at the spot and I got this little spot (which looked like a lake from the Carpark) all to my self 🤩💎
No man he was not there was someone else pay attention next time.
@@SurfingWithNoz i definitely saw someone else, just one person .I didn't go back and speed if they had a board.
@@bennieknape4857 there was a guy bodysurfing who I had a good chat with. Then as I left at the end some people started to come take the spot 😂
Never surfed but definitely lured by it when i watch.
Stoked to hear that 😄🙌🏽
‘Like that smash button’ - nice vid btw
Hahaha yes please 🙏🏽🙌🏽 and thank you so much 😄😄
yea i went to palm beachon sunday and saturday and they were really glassy but most the waves closed out, i managed to get a barrle with my boogieboard (i have an injured knee :()
Sounds super fun!! Been plenty of good waves around 💎 Sorry to hear about your knee! Hope it heals up quickly 🙌🏽
3:26 sometimes you just gotta pull out early to be safe
Hahahaha couldn’t have said it better myself 😂😂🙌🏽
Yeeeewwww🚀
Yewwww let’s goooo 🚀⚡️
I love your videos I watch everyone keep it going!
Thank you so much!! That means a lot to me 🙏🏽🙏🏽💙
Try surfing the mentawai Islands, it freaks you out its that glassy, at first you can't tell when the waves are going to break
Yeah wow!! I definitely will someday 🤩
Hawaii was super similar, just pure glass 💎
So glassy!! 🤩 sick footage and surfing too. Jello
Yeww thank you so much Sienna!! It was a dream 🤩 and you’re a legend for making it to the end 🙏🏽
that ocean water looks beatiful
Was such a beautiful day!! 🙌🏽💎
@@SurfingWithNoz yeah
I have question do you prefer reef or sand?
Another great question! I’ve surfed probably 97% beach my whole life and 3% reef. So I’m more comfortable/experienced in beach breaks. But a good reef break that has perfect waves and you can paddle around it I would way prefer! The only time I’d prefer a beach break is for doing airs. But other than that, reef break all day.
Because beach breaks are constantly changing and moving due to the sand. So sometimes (very rarely) the waves are really good. But most of the time the waves are crap and just closeout 🤙🏽
This war’s so good omg 😭😍
🙌🏽😍
Amazing!
Thank you so much 🙏🏽😅
Keep ripping! Yewwwww!
Yewww thanks mate!! 🙏🏽🤙🏽
Ive seen someone that looks like you, i live a south florida and i think ive seen you but its maybe another person, but i love ur vids!!!!
Hahaha thank you so much! I’ve never been to the US (I’m from Australia) so must of been someone else haha. I get that a lot though. Must be a few doppelgängers out there 😂🙌🏽

@@SurfingWithNoz nice work! That looks like a dreamy break! Don’t tell even one person or it will fill in like a sandbar. That’s what happened at my local spot. Someone put it on Facebook and now there are 50-100 people every swell😫
