heidi is playing a gig at my local village hall in october,(unbelievably!). I never heard her before this week, good grief she's an amazing talent. last time i got goosebumps like this was natalie merchant 20 years ago.
Just plain great music....we have the whole album and we all, including our 2 kids just love it! You wish there was more...more albums ;-) more music....

Saw Heidi with McKusker & Hewerdine (apologies for forgetting the bassist's name) at Tolbooth in Stirling this week. What a great ensemble and great night of music. She sounds even better live than on CD. Go see her if you get the chance.

Saw her (and Boo Hewerdine) at Cambridge Folk Festival this year - definite Festival highlight! She was mesmerising and did a wonderful rendition of "Whispering Grass" if anyone has it, please post it onto UA-cam as it was truly wonderful.
