While I understand other UA-camrs have built Lego Movie Devastator, outright better, or for scale, this has to be my favorite iteration of this character, ever. While the build may be 5 years old, and not have any extra pieces to combine, I think it'd be seriously hard to out-beat this near masterpiece of a lego transformer. (Keep on bricking!)
This devastator is the best out of any on UA-cam rn, it’s so clever yet simple, yes bigger scaled ones are impressive but their slow and can’t hold themselves up, I very much appreciate the simple small scale that allows for fast transformation and de-transformation, overall is just so nicely done, so clean and yet at this Cale the transformation has depth and looks proper love it
Their names are Payload and Buckethead. Additionally, their's technically ten constructcons in ROTF, with Scrap Metal combining with Scrapper as literally just a shoulder, and Bucket combing with Hightower as literally just a hook. Nerding out/"Uhm, ackshually" aside, some fun trivia! Originally, Hightower was going to be called Hook, but was renamed due to trademark reasons.
And we both know that Scavenger/Demolisher's original name was Wheelbot
The process of head transformation is quite interesting 👍
This is a great build, I believe you’ll be able to eventually build a Devastator that is in scale with your other Lego transformers. That would be amazing!
The head transformation is the most accurate I've seen as devvy gets the red from scavenger

Woah a video on this one, that’s unexpected. I think this is probably the best Lego devy out there, on this scale at-least. I particularly like the way the head comes from two bots.

@@SupamalinHe does, if you look closely at the arm mode Scrapmetal forms the upper arm/ bicep (just behind Hightower) hence the smaller trends. Hightower’s larger treads go around bucket head near the claws. If you watch the scene when Hightower comes down to combine with Buckethead, you can see the treads come ever so down to surround the even smaller treads that tuck under Hightower’s.
according to newtons orange law, we can find that big macs are made out of clocks, which is the same material for beds. now with coral wool, we can make banana peels, which when i calculate my height divided by my shirt, i will fall to KFC, and get a free charger, therefore, humanity would NEVER gever EVER yever, keep up with this man’s intelligence.
This is very good, just letting you know if you didn’t though that scapemetal is the upper right arm, Hightower’s the lower right arm and bucket is the hand. But ether way this is still much better than anything I could ever do
I like how the face comes from devastator instead of mix master, most others couldn't do it in even bigger more complex ones
You're technically missing 1, since there are 10. The nameless are often referred to as Scrapmetal, Payload, and Bucket head.

That “unnamed bulldozer” is actually Skipjack and Scrapmetal was actually the other lesser-known excavator in the constructicon team.

Devastator is a quadrupat cuz if he was standing on two legs to break a computer or TV because of size that's why they've been him to walking on all four so yeah that's a nice facts right there
He's like a little baby, made to walk on two legs, but can't lift it self up.

I'm pretty sure the whole idea with Devastator is that he is technically bipedal, he just has so much mass that he physically can not support his own weight and has to walk on all fours

The one you call "scrap metal" is bucket head
The real scrap metal was the one who got ripped apart to rebuild megatron, but he actually survived because he appeared in the devastator combination scene. Scrap metal, bucket head and hightower form the left arm

Also rampage is the red one and the yellow one is skipjack, since starscream says "RAMPAGE spring the trap" to the red one

Devastator is quadrupedal because he’s too heavy to put his weight on his legs alone and so he also walked in his arms but if he was a bit lighter he probably would stand on his legs

You miss scrapmetal Scrapmetal forms the shoulder, and the scoop turns into a soot machine, just like in the studio series, the name of the work machine buckethead.

Overloads combine mode has an obvious accuracy flaw
Buckethead turns into a Caterpillar M930 bulldozer with a bucket attachment instead of the traditional blade
You should make Skids and Mudflap from revenge of the fallen just so you can compare them to devastator!

Yeah this is bearly accurate at all, although he does have a nice dumptruck befitting of such a behemoth *HOWEVER* I see no scrotum, no metal sack for the balls, no key chain between the legs...

And I know that people have expressed how they find these kind of details in the movies to have ruined their childhood experiences watching them but I say that this was for their own well being, Because!

3-4 years ago I made devastator where all Transformers could transform individually and of course combine. Oh and they were really small. But now I completely forgot even how they looks like😭

I like this one much more than Ix, because there's no parts forming, it's bigger, taller, more stable with tighter joints, and it has all 9 constructicons,

0:57 payload is the yellow dump truck, buckethead/scoop is the mini-skipjack (skipjack is yellow, rampage is brown)

Isn’t long haul the most accurate to the G1 version? Because the G1 constructicons were like green with purple, and the movie long haul is lime green with red

I know that the yellow Bulldozer is Scrapmetal, Plus, since they confirmed Scrapmetal to be the yellow bulldozer, that is his second form.
