    Riding on a normal horse can be a crutch. You'll be able to carry more, but if you get knocked off your horse, you can get slowed down by the weight. Best to spend the extra cash on an armored horse.
    Also, since I mentioned spending extra cash, I would highly recommend getting higher quality food and potions.

    • @KoffeeFiends
      @KoffeeFiends  7 років тому +3

      I agree on higher quality food and potions for sure. But the Armored Horse's downside is it has a reduced carrying bonus. Not very useful if you're gathering large quantities. The Giant stag is a good alternative, but they have fewer hit points than a standard horse. It's up to you whether you want to choose the bonus health or carrying weight. Great insight!

    • @CaptainKraft

      I used to use the horses for the same reason, but I found that it wasn't worth that extra carrying bonus when you inevitably get knocked off your horse from time-to-time. On the other hand, if you're quick, you can trash a stack of materials just before you get knocked off so that you won't be slowed.

      What tier weapons and skills are you using to down an Armored Horse before they can get away? That's awesome you're able to put out so much damage!

      "not much safer" is just not true. You are much safer. You can objectively prove it. It's not perfect, but you get a huge buffer to escape.

    I recommend looking that how many people in your zone are on the attack mode so you can estimate how much of an danger you are and watch where other people have died so you can try to estimate their position if possible

    If you are gathering in remote RZ where usually there can only be solo gankers or pairs who usually just wear plain t4. Ox is slow but very tough to be knocked off, which means solos or pairs could possibly keep up with you but no way to dismount you before you get to the exit. Actually most of them simply lose interests after one cooldown of their chasing skills. However, you should always use the t5 ox above so that CC& burst dmg pair gankers, which is the most dangerous composition, cannot easily dismount you.
    Also, gathering gears usually have strong escape skills on the head piece.

    I always look forward to your videos! Keep it up :) here's my tip from my experience with black/red zones: take frequent trips back to store precious materials. you wouldn't transport millions of dollars in one trip, you'd do it in 10,000 dollar chunks to minimize your risk ;)

    If you're using a normal horse get used to micro managing your inventory.
    As soon as you get ganked or rather get knocked of your horse, Open your inventory and throw out some of your material so your no longer over wait.
    Gathering gear really helps with this since you have invisibility (ambush) on your chest so you can buy a little time to do this.
    Also in genenral the sprints you get from gathering-boots are insane.
    Last, I'm not sure about this, gathering gear provides more HP.
    TDLR: just go for gathering gear, you cant fight back anyway when there is 1+ on you.

      Two Stroke don't be afraid, the game is down most of the day anyways so you will not need to invest so much time into it. Hell i bet the 2-3 hours you CAN play the game will be down. Seriously though, if you like true sandbox, hate Korean rng loo and korean rng gearing up, don't mind pvp and 80s graphics it is a great game. Guild is a must , no matter what they say you can't make it alone. And to those people who claim you can pay no attention, the game mechanics allow it but while the rest are flying from London to China you are walking and swimming. It really not efficient.

They call it a "sandbox" game and its not, and its not a "solo" game, join a guild or die is the name of the game, also the game has no end game content, its boring as hell once you gear nice gear, all you do is just run around and do nothing.

    • @ShacolateClown
      @ShacolateClown 3 роки тому

      Pay attention to the outer edge of your map. Always skin / fight while your mount is on top of you. Just so you can hop on quikly. Also dont get greedy. Better to run away with a 5mil inventory instead of risking it for a few extra hides.

    how does gathering yield bonus work?

  • @CookieCraftGaming
    @CookieCraftGaming 7 років тому +2

    I have a very noobish question, how does one dual wield?

    • @KoffeeFiends
      @KoffeeFiends  7 років тому +3

      It's all good homie. There are types of weapons that are dual wielded by default. Dual swords and dual daggers will give you a sword/dagger in each hand, but you'll only have to buy and equip one item. The counterpart to each would be the single sword and dagger. These are single handed weapons meant to be paired with an off hand item, like a shield or a torch. Take a look at the sword section on your destiny board and you'll better understand the difference. Hope this helps!

      In the case above I'm regularly killing the Stone Elementals in the zone I'm gathering in. The longer I'm in combat, the more vulnerable I am to ganking. With my helm's Poison ability and the attack speed bonus from the rest of my gear, Elementals die quickly, and I minimize the amount of time I'm in combat. I won't have to run away from a fight with a player AND an Elemental trailing behind. This is just the choice I've made for my situation, feel free to wear your gathering gear!

      @ashenmist6090 4 роки тому +1

      Not really pay to win, yeah sure you can buy lots of gold sell it for silver and buy the best armor in the game, but you still need masteries so you have to spend a ton more in buying books. Don't be discouraged from dying it's a major part of the game. My suggestion would be to join a guild with people who will teach you and help you out. I suggest you check out Albion pewpew he is an Albion streamer but he also has a youtube channel and he focuses on pvp, I've learned a lot from his videos.

      @@g.abzilla7665 i haven't been playing for long but I did join a guild. Unfortunately it's a Brazilian guild so you have to speak Portuguese to join but look for a smaller guild as bigger ones will require you to contribute a lot for large scale pvp or demand a lot from you. Be careful with random people inviting you out of no where as that's most likely a scam. Those people will just mass invite and only show up to collect the guild tax everyone so generously left for them.
