    Thank you for the help! I appreciate you going over the inverse flip. It might seem like just a fundamental part of solving the equation for some people, but I personally forgot about that and was struggling to figure out why my math wasn't adding up until you pointed it out. Great lesson!

    it would have been more helpful if you explained now you got 0.233 by adding those steps on your video. So far I have only seen 1 person explain correctly with a step by step method. Go to "Series & Parallel Circuits & Ohm"s Law Physics, part 5" she uses the table method and the fraction method at 19:10

    • @DMaciaga
      @DMaciaga  6 років тому +3

      I clearly explain to add up all three fractions to get 0.233. The reason why we do that is because of the equation for total resistance in a parallel circuit (which also was explained).

    • @robertbrandywine
      @robertbrandywine 6 років тому +2

    It would have been quicker to solve the total current and use the total voltage in combination to solve for the total resistance. I suppose in some cases you may need to work this way but the example you gave would have been easier solving the voltage and then current. I use the P over I and E; E over I and R or you can remember PIE and EAR. This will help anyone remember the formulas if you have a hard time. Lay it out with PIER.
