Man, what a fun adventure to join you in. I myself love boobys as well, but who doesn’t? When you’re in the know, you know! Thanks for the video and great fish, absolutely gorgeous!
I can’t say enough how fun it has been to follow along and watch your projects and see your ideas come alive. I was wounded in Iraq and released from service due to my injuries, and being retired at a young age, when you were meant to work and want to create or be productive, your videos have provided me with an amazing amount of inspiration. I have hopes to attempt to carve and create a figured Koa and feathered walnut net for future adventures that I hope to have on my good days, and on the rough days I will work in the shop or tie flies to be used another day, which gives hope for a better future. Just wanted to say thanks again for the work that you put into these videos, it does mean a lot to some of us, and it’s more than just entertainment, it’s a shared adventure or passion. One of these days when things are a bit better for everyone I’ll have to reach out and have you build a project for me, maybe a long handled net to make it easier to safely net the fish from the boat? Anyway, sorry for the book, but felt the need to let ya know
Mike, I can’t thank you enough for joining me on this journey and I’m beyond happy that my random/fun adventures in any way can help blend your passion for fishing with a newfound adventure with carving and net making. These hobbies are the best blend of creativity and love for the outdoors, plus you can do it year round! Thanks a ton for coming along and I’d love to see your work as you get into it. If you’re on Instagram you can message me at @riverbend_woodworks
