I’m surprised about all the negative feelings on this. I have really liked it for the past 3 days I’ve used it. I have normal/combo skin and it works great. The finish looks natural, sheer-light coverage (which I prefer, but it is buildable to get higher coverage) and lasted pretty well. I saw someone compare it to the Fenty stick tint and I much prefer this one. Side note: my favorite sticks are by Huda and Nude Stix and this might be up there now too. I know we are all different with different skin, but I wanted to share my input since I saw so many negative comments about it. It’s good men’s makeup, lol

Thanks for reviewing this so fast, I love ABH as a brand and this looked interesting. It reminded me of the Fenty stick tint. With coconut oil in there, plus shea butter and many other oils... seems like this will be pore clogging and also does look greasy/waxy. I wish brands would stop using coconut oil in their products since it does cause breakouts in a lot of people.... I avoid using even hair products with coconut oil as I have a fringe. I would have considered it but the ingredients list makes it an easy pass for me, I think the Fenty one might be a safer pick

Steff, thank you for your review and taking one for team! You can tell how badly you want to take off your makeup. The shade match is perfect but wow that’s about it. I think there is way too much moisturizing ingredients in this skin balm. As soon as you went through the ingredients and you mentioned coconut oil it was an immediate no for me. Coconut oil breaks me out every time.
It was so slippery and like you said greasy looking. I was really interested in this but your review saved me the money and a bad breakout!

Thank you for taking one for the team! I wonder who this is for? Perhaps if you have really really dry skin🤷🏽♀️. But I think that the product is far too oil heavy even for dry skin. It might look good for 2-3 hours but not longer. 💕
I think it’s for those who need little coverage and have slightly dry skin.

Tysm for enduring such an unpleasant texture for the two days. I have dry skin that would probably 'like' the level of emollients. I'm impressed by the colour match on you, but I'm wondering if it's that 'slippery' could it actually break down my SPF50+ that I need to use everyday in Australia?
tbh, the first 6-8 ingredients are probably closer to a balm cleanser, so it might not even work for dry skin as you surmised. Thank you again Steff✨🫶🏻✨

Oh no Steff. This was so very helpful, I was curious but nope I have a skin care routine. I don't want makeup to be my skincare. The eye looks stunning. It's UD is my top. The only stick is lancome for me too.
Stay away from this one!!
I love this balm , but Im 60 and it doesn't settle in all my lines. I do use powder over it. And it has lasted all day. Im normal skin.

Don’t feel left out you’ve got the skin that everybody wants there are so many matte products and we all know that trying to keep your skin from producing oil with make up is bad for it anyways.

The new UD has become one of my faves!! I love it!
I didn't find a good shade in store. I go for neutral and 5 was too light. Next one, over was too dark. I also was not impressed at how it swatched. Looked like it would slip and slide everywhere with no coverage; and i like light coverage

Better give up on my ideal stick foundation for oily girl dream cuz I guess it doesn't exist. I know you mentioned Lancôme and Ilia but I don't want the full coverage - light to medium coverage is what I prefer and I don't see any like that on the market.
Fenty? it might fair better for you because it’s silicone based. this Anastasia is mostly oils.
Look at the Shop Miss A one. It’s medium coverage.
As you read the ingredients off, I swear my skin started feeling greasy and my pores clogged. LOL
I have normal-to-oily, acne-prone skin so I'll be skipping this for sure.
Also, I expect brands to have better shade ranges by now...UGH. 16 shades is not it.

There are different types of coconut oil by the way and then the way that it’s processed if you just put coconut oil from the grocery store on your face probably yes but if someone’s in a lab that’s isolating parts of the coconut oil or coconut oil that’s prepared in a certain way it’s great for inflammation eczema and it also protects against cancer, causing free radicals

Didn't love tbis, it stuck tot dry skin and was patchy and their shades are weird as well
I returned it. It just didn’t work for me.
I bought this, used it once…had to come home early to wash my face off because it was so greasy and gross.
I’m glad I’m not the only one that felt this way! For something lightweight it felt really icky.
