- In this video, I talk about my Avante collection and I add a new Avante & Kyosh to the family. I also go over all current channel activity and future projects. 2x TT02B Porsche 911 builds, Kyosho Optima Turbo on order and more work on the RCKicks studio. It's been a really busy time at RCKicks!
I built my Avante this weekend n now waiting for my paint to be delivered today so I can finish it completely. Man u have 4 of them, thats impressive, I never thought id own one let alone 4 lol, its an awesome kit to build. Some definitely quality parts n thought that went into the Avante. Thanks for sharing bro!
I think the thing I like the most about the Avante is the Engineering that’s gone into the car. It’s a work of art.

Great Video, Seen six or so and now just sub`d. Been 55yrs now loads of them bring back memories. Never had all! Most were too expensive then and now!

ones I have had no particular order, sand scorcher,rough rider,falcon, Schumacher cat,kyosho zx, mantua 1/8th moto cross, all early to late 80`s I think.like the avantes and top end stuff, don't know enogh about spares and costs to tip toes in ALSO where to find,ebay way costly.
I think that will be cool stuff seeing Mr,and Mrs Kick work side be side Family build 👍 Cool one model to do it with!

My wife and I built a couple Axial SCX10 kits a few years ago. We had a great time building together.

aviano72 Hi, The Dyna is on it’s way, looking forward to that one myself. I think it will only need a bit of love on the chassis and then a paint job on the body. As soon as it arrives I’ll do a video.
Studio is coming along but not 100% finished yet. Still need to work on the lights but it works better than the previous layout.
Haha I think your wife is joining you as she wants to understand your addiction to help you break it!! I never knew Tamiya made a truck Avante! I ran the Quantum LRP in my X-ray T1 when I was a member of a club, it was great till I ran it in the rain and it burnt itself out!!!!
Hi Gavin , Nice to hear you are taking your first steps down the Kyosho road. This is a very slippery slope and will cost you a fortune . you think you have a Tamiya Falcon problem just wait once you have built one Kyosho its very hard to stop. Its great fun and rewarding the Kyosho's vintage and RERE buggies are amazing to drive I fell into this exact same trap with Kyosho cars. 2 years and more money than I will own up to the Kyosho collection is now up to 6 good runners and 3 other projects which will be running soon. Most of them are 80's Optima's and Optima Mids with couple of Ultima's thrown in.
I was blown away by the parts in the box and I just want to build it now.

Nice job. Keep it going. I remember seeing the expensive avante and egress on the top shelves of beaties and drooling knowing I couldn’t afford them. Brought both a couple of years back as shelve queens :)
Avante was never an option when I was young as well. That and the 959 being so far out of reach. I still loved my Grasshopper and Falcon.
RCKicks I had the boomerang and wild willey back then. The elusive Toyota celica was one I always wanted, apparently higher spec but the 959 looked nicer.
i wanted this Tamiya because i have a Super champ & The Frog.. but after looking i pick a nitro instead..since then i was addicted & bought 2 more race kits..
So many informations and so many stuff, thank you for sharing.
I'm really looking forward to the Optima! I wanted one as a teenager, and might be picking up the rerelease :D
Funny, I just ordered the same thing for my birthday right before watching this video. My best friend had one in the late 80’s. It was so much better than my Hotshot

Love the channel wish we had the choices in Australia as you do. Just wondering is there any difference between 84270 and the 47390 black Avante models.
The black Avante cons with extra options like the carbon race steering. Black is the best Avante option and that’s why it’s more expensive

Nice Frog project. Regarding the 2 ECSs, If I had to guess, I'd say they're 10 years younger than your Evo
I had a quick look but couldn’t find release dates for the two ESC. The TF Evo is older than it looks and came out in 1992. She’s now 27 years old but still looking absolutely stunning. Will we see a RERE in 2020!?!
@@RCKickschannel A re-release would be cool, it will probably happen someday. The ESCs look like early 2000s. I have some LRP from the mid 90s and they have a different design.

I have an old Kyosho pick up rc, it's got to be at least 32 ish years old. I'm not sure what the name of it is. Would you know anything about it. It looks like an outlaw nitro truck but it's electric.
What paint scheme for the Frog? Box art or something different?
