    The best review of anything I've seen on UA-cam. No silly music or going on about what they are having for tea and all that rubbish that normally applies to these reviews. Tells you exactly just what you need to know. Excellent!

    The Bluetti customer service, or lack thereof, is a good reason to go with Ecoflow. I find home charging, efficiency and speed to be a bit redundant, if you're going camping or anywhere you need a 'portable power station', you will charge it the day or night before and either unit will be ready. The real test is speed, and efficiency when you're in the sticks, depending on your 12v car system or solar.
    Having the edge when you're at home with all of the power you need is secondary to the off-grid performance, after all, they are portable for a reason. Again, both are great units, but Bluetti if you have a problem, good luck contacting them!

    I have both of these also. Did a couple dc fridge test on both. Very similar results with the eb3a edging out the ecoflow but not by much. Most likely because if the slightly higher capacity. These 2 are the best entry level solar generators in my opinion.

      My concern is. I lack of knowledge and skills to fix it if something is wrong. No service centers here in the area, only some repairshops who always scam people or even destroy more trying to repair it. But I do need something for the brownouts. Hope the lifespan is bit same as a quality 4stroke gasoline gen

    Thank you very much for the very professional, friendly, down to earth, comparison of these two units. It has made it a lot simpler for me to chose which one I want. I like the compactness of the Ecoflow, the USB charging, and now that the price has dropped to $169, it's a no brainer. Also, I own an Ecoflow fridge and a Delta 2 generator, plus two Ecoflow solar panels. Makes it convenient to keep the software the same. I was under the impression that the Bluetti had a greater capacity than the smaller Ecoflow, but after seeing your comparison, the vantage is negligent in my opinion. In addition, currently the Ecoflow is $30 less/cheaper than the Bluetti. Although I had purchased the Bluetti, I am having a change of heart, and will go with the Ecoflow. Thank you once again for your great presentation.

    I own both, and other Ecoflow solar generators. The Bluetti delivers more wattage, and mine is a variable fan, maybe due to a firmware update. The Ecoflow seems to be made like a tank. The Ecoflow sits under my car seat, which is great. You can't go wrong with either. Both top notch! Thanks for the video!

    I have a Delta2 and was looking for a smaller one day trips only and strugling between these two. For two reasons the Bluetti won: double Solar input makes it more versatile. At least here in Germany EcoFlow devices are incredibly expensive!! I could grap the EB3A as a refurbished for €140 and the River2 will not be under €240!!! I like the form factor of the river far better and I do not like stuff I will never use like the wireles charging but the price advantage is too big...

    An interesting spec. difference to consider is the rated capacity in Ah (Amp Hour) between the Bluetti (12 Ah) and the EcoFlow (20 Ah). So, the Wh capacity number is a bit misleading and the Bluetti EB3A (268Wh) has a somewhat lower capacity (per the Ah rating) than the EcoFLow River 2 (256Wh). I think the Ah rating provides a more truthful representation of capacity.
    Also, I tested the EcoFlow DC output from 100% SOC to 0% SOC and got 85% output. So, I guess I can be happy about that.

      Precisely. If I hadn't just purchased the 3 of them within a week of failure I would have been stuck with them. As it turns out the store, where purchased honored their commitment to good product. But not Bluetti.

      Can you elaborate further? I'm getting worried now of getting bluetti or ecoflow based on the replies on your comment

    None of these offer good value for money..Go with a Ctechi 320wh. Customer service is excellent, better build, aluminium case rather than plastic. If you need expandable battery then the Vtoman 600x is one of the best. If you need an app and wireless charging then the Allpowers r600 is a better package than both the eb3a and river 2

      Ctechi cost the same and I believe only offers 1 year warranty while ecoflow offers 5,and not a huge pro but the ecoflow charges way faster then the ctechi

    Cant understand how one of the most, if not the most, important comparisons was ignored. Battery life (max cycles it can be recharged before dropping below 80%). Some of the 10 head to head comparisons were irrelevant.

    Ecoflow looks like it has a deformity growth out the back for a handle. WEAK design Ecoflow. Blueetti is obviously way better.

      @geographyinaction7814 Рік тому +14

      Rubbish! The handle ensures you don't push the back of the unit against a wall or other obstruction, the cooling fan is on the back; the old handle prevented you from putting things on top.
      The Ecoflow charges faster, and has far better customer service, Bluetti is almost impossible to contact!
