I think I see a pinky tuscadero capt jays blade bait! That's a great place to fish.I got my personal best walleye trolling back and forth out from the dam. Good job boys!
I just caught 2 beautiful Pinks in a river on my property in northeast WI. Kept 1, put the other back and watched about 100 spawning on a gravel bar. Never thought Id see wild salmon in my life with out going to Alaska. Great Lakes Chinooks and Coho's never had the appeal to me cuz they are 100% stocked, but the Pinks got a crazy story and are naturally reproducing here. Last ones stocked were in Superior in 1956!
Yo so you guys who fish on shore. Get a big bead and put it on your line and make it stay stationary then tie a 1 to 2lbs weight tie it directly to your main line and place that bead like 4 to 5 feet off from that weight. Cast it out there and make sure it's not moving then, get like 10-12 lbs fluro and then tie one snap on one side of the the line and another on the other side. Make sure the length of that line is like 3 to 4 feet max. Then get a rapala 3-1/8 silver/blue/orange husky jerk the hj-8 and snap it on the line and then snap that line onto your fishing pole line, the current will do the work by dragging it down even though this hj has a small lip. Basically it'll slide down on your line down to the bead and you'll basically be trolling from land lol. I catch so mant salmon and walleye among other fish using this method here in the st clair river. I promise you guys it works and for salmon that specific 3-1/8 inch hj 8, silver, blue, orange has to be used i've tried other sizes and they never work. Saves you who don't have a boat a whole lot of time and money.
Those pinks taste so good 👍😊
