Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre Tour

G'day,
In today's video we take a short tour of the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. The rehabilitation centre is located in the 45 square kilometre Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve which is around 25 kilometres from the town of Sandakan on the East Coast of Northern Borneo. You can take and organised tour from Sandakan or simply take a taxi and walk around at your own leisure. At the end of the video I give a summary of our experience at the rehabilitation centre.

I left my large lens on the private hire mini bus we had just went in with my 50mm & small binoculars it was plenty.. My daughter ended up with a hammerhead worm crawling on the back of her pants a couple of minutes in just before we got to the 1st feeding platform.. Definitely loved the indoor viewing room the air conditioner was greatly appreciated that day 😂😂..

Agreed. Just came back from Sandakan. The camera price for 400mm and over is just BS and it's not justifiable.

Well they need money to return the Orang Utan back to wilderness. Kinda understand although sucks.
