Early on, I tried doing this on every game. I got too frustrated, and it wasn't fun for me anymore. I quit trying to get everything in every game. Much respect for you staying patient and continuing keeping this up.
Yes.. Amen, brother.. I've been gaming myself on Playstation since the original console.. It is always nice to collect those trophies on PS5..
By far the most rewarding Platinum I've gotten was for Elden Ring. That made me feel like I actually accomplished something.
Feel the opposite. That was one of the easiest platinums to get. I don’t think easy platinums are rewarding. Make me really work for it

I didn’t know you were out here like that too. Respect. I do the same. I’m at 115 platinums myself since 2010 but I was kid then so I didn’t do much until the later 2010s.

That rebirth plat is brutal. That Zack and Cloud mission is so hard. took me forever to beat Odin and Bahamut. You should try out SOTC remake and Bloodborne. great games.
Damn a fellow huge gamer! Its awesome to see a history of your gaming with trophy lists. I like it they tell you the dates. And shattered dimensions was awesome. So many good games from the ps3/360 era
This was a fun watch Gem. Really got me feeling nostalgic about my trophies and achievements. I think my first platinum was Uncharted 1. I think I have 2 more trophies left for FF16, just not ready to run it back for a second playthrough.

This is dope af! I only got two Platinums..😬 My first was Spider-Man PS4 then Spider-man: Miles Morales, I really disliked Spider-man 2 narratively so I didn't go for that one but I'd like to start a Platinum journey with my favorite games. The problem in most cases is once I beat the game, I want to get another one started. That's the dilemma!
i absolutely love final fantasy, some of my favourite games, 6 specifically is for sure one of my favourite games of all time, if you get the pixel remasters my advise for the NES/SNES era games would be make sure to double check your bestiary and that you have killed every enemy in an area before moving on, as a lot of enemies share the same sprite work and are just recoloured, a lot of what got me was me missing 1 enemy in an area i cant go back to, its easy to run past some of the enemies in a specifc place in a specific room in 1 part of a map thats only accessible once per playthrough in the story, and would have to start the game over again to get to that 1 area just to kill 1 or 2 enemies i missed! as for if you play 9, theres some dumb frustrating ones in there ( e.g the rope jump one for Vivi) find a BPM video for it and it helps keep time, i saw you dropped resident evil 5, those games are truly fantastic too, if you ever wanna return to them, going in order 1-4 and experiencing them would be fun too.

Mafia 2 is easily one of the Best story based games I ever played, I still havent played 3 but that cliff hanger they gave us at the end of 2 had me begging for Mafia 3 to come out, That game was so good bro

I agree, and Like a Dragon 0 was the best game ever released.
Currently working on Nioh 2 and gotta clean up on Sandland. Did 4 of the 6 pixel remasters so far. They are some of my favorite cause you deep dive into the bestiary and really get to understand the original games and see the progression. Was never able to play Famicom 2-3 back in the day cause it wasnt trnaslated then.

I used to try to get just about every platinum out there but then decided to slow down after getting Kingdom Hearts 3 as my 100th one. Nowadays I only go after platinums if I really really love the games.
The most memorable platinum for me would prob. have to be Metal Gear Solid 3 since I got it in 1 single playthrough. Worst one would have to Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories on PS3 due to the fact that you needed to play the game 6 times for the platinum.
This was a really interesting watch. My PSN account also started in 2010. You've got some great ultra rare plats there.

It’s funny bro. I prefer soft cover trades over hardcovers, smaller statues over large ones, and I have only one single platinum trophy. Yet, I’m a big fan of your channel and watch pretty much every video. Always great stuff. You’re the real deal. Keep it up dude!

this is dope bro, we got similar taste haha. the mk11 plat is soooo grindy it took me forever. but a FF plat is always a mission, only got like 5 or 6 from the series. good luck on those!! 9 and 10 might kill you 💀. mad respect g. btw, i think you should revisit injustice 2, i think its better than the original tbh. you can just turn off all the gear stats by switching to competitive or tournament mode
Very nice 👌🏻 I have 74 platinums myself. One of my favourites being the Star Wars: Battlefront (2015) one because it’s the highest rarity I’ve seen at 0.1%.
As an owner of that Super Street Fighter 4 Plat as well, you sir are the real deal.

My most rewarding 100% was Like a Dragon 0 from 2024 Feb. Next month will be continuously playing Kiwami 1.

Dang. Just looked at mine. I only have 25, and the ones I have are kinda "common" lol. Like most of the ones I have are 20-30%. Weird to me to see that RE7 has a lower percent than RE2. I thought the plat for RE7 was WAY easier than RE2 ( _that Hunk one kicked my butt for a while, lol_ ).
Looking at my list reminded me that I never got the last two platinums for the Mass Effect Collection. Looks like I just stopped in Mass Effect 3 for some reason. I need to go back for those.
3:36 - I finally bought my PS5 the month before Spider-Man 2 came out, so I know that feeling, lol. I could never get into the Wolverine game, though. I think I bought a copy way late because people on forums always talked it up, and maybe I was just expecting too much from it. Looking forward to the new one though. Insomniac does great work.
edit: something that STILL bothers me is that I LOVED that game Doom, but couldn't get the platinum for it because I simply could not get a multiplayer match to load. By the time I went for it, the online was already ghost town.
My first platinum was infamous
I have 67 myself. I get platinum kicks on and off over the years. Right now it's off. I'm focusing on building Lego stuff now.
I'm most proud of my Bioshock, Dragon Age Origins, Demon's Souls(ps3) and Bloodborne Plats.
You should stream some platinums or review them! I didnt finish MK 1 cause i didnt want to mess with the outworld mode
This was an unexpected thing to have in common. I have about 50 since the PS3 era. I play a lot of RPGs so I have been trying to obsess over achievements less since they are so time-consuming and sometimes ruin the game. I have like 3 Skyrim platinums I don't regret, though.
My favourite platinum is Tekken 7 because you have to win a tournament to get it. I’m working on Spider-Man 2, but you have to finish a new game plus, and I don’t want to play through it again so soon (in this case I didn’t mind turning the difficulty down to an easier setting than the first time).
You don't need a NG+ for the Spider-man 2 plat as it's a DLC trophy
i was not expecting a video like this 😂 i just started last year (originally an xbox player) but im only at 28 platinums
edit: i did purposely play the ps4 versions and auto popped the ps5 version for a couple games so my list is slightly inflated 😅 by maybe 5

I’ve actually been going for Platinums for just as long as you have been. As of right now I have 178 and I need 1 more trophy for Sly Cooper of the PS4 and then I should be getting the PS5 version shortly after.
Other than that I’m going for FF7 Rebirth and Baldur’s Gate 3. Just about done with those two as well.

Im not into fighting games that much but Plat most, Hardest Fighting game was Injustice " Ultimate Brawler".

I created my new account back in August 2023 and my goal is to keep my completion percentage at least above 90% on PSNP 🙃 Currently at 24 plats, but soon I'll pop my 25th plat which is a big one, Call of Duty Black Ops 3 🙃 Besides that working on F1 23 and GTA 4 😁
If you're a big fan of third-person action adventure, you should definitely check out Ghost of Tsushima. I don't remember seeing it on your list, but I could have missed it. It's pretty easy platinum as well.... and Prime 1 has some sick staues, too.

Mafia 2 remasterd has a new trophy list
I stay far away from fighting game platinums since I suck at them and all other games that require online play to unlock a platinum. Single player games are the only platinums I chase
the mastery of all characters trophy in mk9 suspect as hell lol. u woulda have had to leave it on running all day for a month for the 24 hrs game time with each character
If I recall, you could do 2 characters at once, leave it on overnight and get 10-12 hours on each. So 2 days knocked out 2 characters… or kharacters rather.
I hated rebirth the piano, the chadley missions and I had the same reaction like I don’t think I can do this! Its too much!

Platinums feel like silver or bronze trophies now. Devs make sure the platinums trophies are inclusive to all gamers. Look at spiderman2 everyone was bragging about platinumin it after 15hours. Bring back challenging content for trophies ppl 💪
Not to brag or anything but I do prefer a challenging game even if it's time consuming or hard though I like to value my time so I make plans on which games to 100%.
I do need to realise I may not earn all 100% so maybe I will hit a 90% generally on my Steam profile and call it a day because some are online and the grindest of all time.
