Just my opinion that's all not trying to start a big debate over nothing.Never liked punk at all in wwe or outside. I liked Ryback his entire time at wwe regardless of what he was doing.

Ryback is underrated. I know he was pushed as a Goldberg clone, but when I was twelve and I heard ‘feed me’, I was hyped and the strong giant he is always entertained even if he wasn’t always booked right.
Such an eye opening 2 interviews with a very misunderstood Ryback. I've only ever truly hated 2 ppl in wrestling and that's Vince & Shawn after Montreal. Otherwise I can't understand hating the person for the character lol
I think Ryback would fit the best in the modern NWA or maybe Impact. In my opinion NWA is doing something very interesting and it feels very new because it hasn't been done in over 30 years. A lot of people talk about how AEW will attract talent, but they are not counting on NWA, which can't pay so much at the moment but if they keep doing what they do they will start making money hand over fist very soon and maybe in one year or two they'll have a TV deal and real sponsors and ttey will attract some stars. I can see guys like Bully Ray, Jay Lethal, Mike Bennett, Mickie James, Celeste Bonin, Brian Cage and a few others going there at one point or another and contributing to the brand's growth. Ryback would be perfect for the role, I can see him carrying the company and having the 10 pounds of gold.
Yes, the man can talk and will have hopefully improved his in ring work. Could be a solid upper mid card guy and provide some much needed variety, in the best case scenarios ofc.

It would be a good fit, couple matches a month, really good workers to bounce off of and several hundred grand If things stayed static a prospective career for a good wrestler would be initial training, indies a couple year, a small national like nwa, impact, roh or mlw, then wwe for the huge money for several contracts then aew for semi retirement
