Eyes Wide Open is a live 2-DVD set by the British progressive rock band King Crimson, released in 2003. It presents two concerts filmed in the early 2000s, the band lineup featuring Robert Fripp, Adrian Belew, Trey Gunn and Pat Mastelotto.
Disc one was filmed at the Kouseinenkin Kaikan in Tokyo, Japan, on 16 April 2003 during the tour promoting The Power to Believe. It is presented in non-anamorphic 1.66:1 format. Zooming the image is required on widescreen TVs to avoid black bars on all four sides. Also included, as an extra feature, is an excerpt from the sound and camera check before the show. In addition, the CD EleKtrik: Live in Japan features most of the audio of this concert.

Incredible perfomance, do you also have the rehearsals of the show where they play eyes wide open?
The music and the playing is amazing of course, it is King Crimson, But Is it just me or they look kinda cool also? They look like Rock music scientists. Pat Mastelotto literally looks like an angry math teacher, Trey Gunn is that athletic scientist who practices Jujitsu, Adrian Belew looks like an energetic mad physicist, and Robert Fripp is the mystical one, he's like the Yoda of rock music siting in the shadows like that.

I have Zoom and Strech on my Widescreen TV, dont know what is best, but I am thinking that since you went through all the work remaster both video and sound, would it not the have been and option to put it out in 16:9 ?
