Thank you for this video. I’ve seen an angel when I was a teenager and I was going through a dark time in my life. I think I had a darkness in me that I did not welcome(knowingly). I was born and raised Catholic but that point in my adolescent years, I was beginning to live a sinful lifestyle. I didn’t know then that that’s what welcomed it. An angel appeared to me while I was getting ready in my bathroom very briefly (the very one I’m in actually). It was a brilliant white, petite, appeared to have some feminine qualities, and her feet wasn’t showing nor touching the ground. Her wings were down and her appearance was radiant white. I saw her very briefly in the corner of my eye plain as the sun in the sky, and screamed from terror, then she disappeared. To this day, I believe she was my guardian angel. I believe God permitted her to show herself to me to let me know that they are there by my side and I have nothing to fear. Later on that same day, I was at a friends house telling him what had happened, and he recommended me to go to a priest from my church to seek help. The moment I agreed to seek out help from the servants of Jesus Christ, that darkness left me angrily slamming the front door of his home. It was then I felt the burden, the sadness, the weight, and the darkness leave me immediately. And even after all that, I was too ignorant to realize that I have done this to myself because of my life of sin. Took me many years to learn the difference between a sinning lifestyle and a righteous lifestyle. Now thank God, I am a reborn again child of God. A lost sheep that was now found, praise be to God always.
Be careful of putting God in a box, and dictating what He can and cannot do. We are commanded in 1 Thess.5:19-21, "Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies but examine them." You Reformed Geeks DO quench the Spirit. You DO despise prophesies and you condemn without examining anything.
I am very thankful that God has given us angels to minister to us, as God's people. In this period of time, I think that angels, because of their humility and honor toward God, do most of their visitations to us in unseen ways. They want all of the glory to go to our God, and we, as sinful beings prone to idolatry, shouldn't be seeking after angelic apparitions. (Satan can appear as an angel of light.) Believers will most likely never see an angel until they die, when their elect angels will come to escort them to their Father's House (Luke 16:22)
Why does it even matter, seriously. We have got bigger problems today such as sexual sin that need to be addressed. Angels being visible or invisible doesn't add anything to our journey with Christ. People need to ask better questions, questions specifically addressed towards fighting the good fight of faith.
One reason it's important Indrajeet is because some people worship angels, which is a sin. Others have entertained demons believing them to be angels and listened to them. Still others are encouraged that Yahweh is the same yesterday, today and forever, and angels are still doing the Lord's work too. We don't ignore a portion of scripture just because another sin appears to be more dominate and more dangerous (sexual sin). Millions have fallen for false teaching in regards to angels. It important to understand all aspects of the Word of God.
It is important though we may not dwell on it. Sexual sin is rampant but never above and/or worse than other sins. God sees it all the same. As far as angels, we have to make sure to stay rooted in God's Word to ensure we are listening to Him above all.
