It's crazy to me that accents are retained. I guess it makes sense that how you move your mouth changes your accent (it can't be your vocal chords) but I'd never given it much thought until seeing this.
I think Lorenz Rhode is probably the only guy on UA-cam with vast collection of synthesizers, who actually makes good use of them. Usually, the rule of thumb is:more you have, shitter you sound. That guy is a legend, not only a great producer but also an incredible performer.
