got the mn99s a week ago as my first crawler andso far im satisfied!! just gotta upgrade the motors ,esc, reciever and change the plastic parts to metal and its gonna be even more better :)))
@underrated707 Congrats! Yeah, these are great little rigs for the money, and they have tons of upgradable parts out there, too. Just an FYI, the output shaft from the diffs is 4mm. Make sure you get metal driveshafts for a 4mm shaft, not 3mm.
@SouthernRCGarage Thanks for watching and commenting! Yeah, they're great little rigs for the money! You'll want to upgrade the plastic driveshafts to metal ones as soon as possible, though. Also, you'll want to bring down the center of gravity by weighing down the wheels or axles because the body makes the truck very top-heavy.
Careful if you want to upgrade the driveshaft and the axle as the newer version have 4mm diameter hole as the older version have 3mm diameter hole so its not cross compatible
@kraizerxthesimp46 It's funny that you mention that. My son broke the driveshafts a couple of days after he started playing with it. I experienced the exact same thing with the metal drive shafts that I ordered to replace them. I started modifying the new ones already.
@ Too late, been using them on the transmission side. The drive shafts I got fit fine on the axle side. I did change out the transmission to a 2 speed though. Been working fine so far. I have not done the brushless swap yet though.
Respect to Host and Channel

You’ve taught them well. “It’s a hobby grade!”
@@Papa_Shorty Yeah, that had us rolling! 🤣🤣🤣
Damn MN models upgrading everything. We had the MN82s, MN111, MN182, All of them are getting better and better.
Yeah, I can already see the improvements on this newest version.
This is so Cool
Thanks for watching and commenting! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Great unboxing. I’ve always had the MN99 on my shopping list, but have not gotten around to buying one. Think I’ll change that to the 99s now. 👍👍🕹️😎

@ClassicSteelRC Yeah they very fragile, welp atleast they were cheap to swap haha
There are adapters for the drive shafts. Basically a little shim that fits inside the hole.
@@swidahooverlanding2867 dont use that, it broke very easily

What a dumb place to put the switch... 😂
I might grab one.
Yep, not the best place for a power switch! 🤦♂️🤣
