- Well, it was easy to put together, seems sturdy enough, and my chickens are happy, one con though would be that half the zip ties came already partially broken, but overall I would say yes the run is worth it! 🐣🐓

If you're not getting eggs, put up a camera to see who is.
You need a tarp over a portion to give em shade. Dont feed citrus to chickens. Put some leaf litter in there for em to scratch. Move your pen every week so they stay clean & have fresh ground. And you definitely need a sturdier fence material. Chicken wire is useless with predators...fox, possum, coyote, dogs, bobcat, raccoon.
Make sure if your fernce is staying strong when the wind blows it.

I had raccoons chew right thought chicken wire and kill several of my chickens. Have you had a problem with that?
I go in there around 6 pm to lock them inside a smaller coop to keep them safe, but yes that chicken wire isn't strong enough, I'm going to wrap the outer run with some stronger critter fence, that's what I would suggest. Oh and some rocks/cinder blocks around the perimeter, to deter predators digging under. Good luck!✌️♥️
@@TheDruidsDen I loved having chickens but the constant battle to keep them safe where I live was disheartening. They are so fun to watch.
