      It has come from simple right hand screw rule...the current is clockwise, so the flux was from right to left...

    sir what is the solution of problem 2nd.....dono to aapne wahi btaya....problem is bcoz of either reversing of roatation or field connection.......solution v yhi btaya....difference kya h....sir plz clear this

    respected sir i have a kuestion A DC SHUNT GENERATOR BUILD UP ITS RATED VOLTAGE.. IF THE RESIDUAL MAGNETISM AND DIRECTION OF ROTATION ARE REVERSED THEN GENERATOR WILL ANS GIVEN IS NO BUILD UP OF VOLTAGE HOW IT HAPPENS SIR PLEASE CLEAR MY DOUBT

      Residual magnetism is the magnetism that remains after the field supply is removed...how can you reverse it...?

      Residual flux is the flux that is in the poles when field current is absent...it is not related to saturation...
