Thanks for this video, but still i am not CLEAR the TIGHTER side of the steps is in the FRONT of the car ? At the very beginning of the video the TIGHTER side looks at the REAR of the car. If i have a look on PDF of Installation the TIGHTER side is on the FRONT of the car.
Fantastic video...fotted my steps today ...word of warning however...do not attempt this withiut the rivnut tool...a world of pain awaits you...took me 8 hours to do two boards...6 of which were taken up dealing with broken rivnuts and/or bolts threading due to using diy rivnut fixing ideas from you tube...i have the same kit as the one in this video....while the steps are good quality ..the rivnuts and bolts supplied are poor ...keep up the great work ...a wonderful channel that I have recently stumbled upon....Ps...with this enthusiasm I can see you on your own TV show 😊😊😊😊
Thanks for the lovely comments and also the advice about the rivnut tools - this should help others ! Rivnut tools used to be expensive but are much cheaper now.
Hi Simon….. Being 1820mm tall I would never fit side steps to a vehicle!!! Also they have a tendency to bend when driving off road and connecting with a rock or some other unforgiving piece of nature!!!! Regards Ian 👨🎤🇳🇿😎👍😂
This video is great. Fitted my partner's steps in a couple of hours after watching this 👌
Fantastic!
Great video i just watched it and I arrived in India 🇮🇳.
❤️❤️🙏🙏🇬🇧
The steps on my D3 are quite rusty so was going with the rock sliders you did on the G4 D3. As always great video.👍
I’d be painting and waxoyling those sills too 😊
They were a little scabby !
Great video. Thanks for uploading.
Glad you enjoyed it
Love that Simon followed Land Rover's fitting instructions to the letter and not used axle stands to lift the car up with! 🤣👍
I have to set a good example to Destiny !!

Do you have to use a Rivet tool? Thanks
Can we install self-deployable sidesteps on 2017 Landrover Discovery ?
Good video ⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍
Thank you 👍
Does anyone know if the dynamic bumper front and rear would fit a 2016 land rover discovery sports?
I think that is what i have fitted to the front of my 2015 car.
@L663 Cheers, mate, thank you. And do you think that the rear bumper would fit as well from a dynamic?
These are no longer available it seems, link is 404 :(
Very useful for kids, but not really for adults, especially for the driver)
