      @@frankmeenzen787Yoyoka is in a class of her own because she listens to the music and knows how to only play what makes the music sound better. When she is performing solos they are always a spur of the moment and much more communicative than just to show off her technique.
      Her musical wisdom and tastefulness is unparalleled among top drummers though she has only been around for fourteen years.

    Drum off....c'mon! These two would hardly play together under the guise of a "drum off". They are two of the top drummers in Japan....maybe the world....stop trying to make this a "competition" between them. They do not consider thats what this is! They are Japan's top musicians, and would not consider this a "drum off". Top musicians would not book this event that way! They are two of the best in the world! BTW, Juna is a bass player, in case you didnt know! Juna, however, can play just about whatever instrument given! They are all three excellent and accomplished musicians. Stop calling these "events" drum offs, or implying they are set up as competitions. How petty, and stupid!

      I see your point, I was not sensitive to the term. For me it just implied top tier drummers having a dialogue and showcasing thier talents. This particular one seems full of joy and spunk. Ya they are having a time showing off - drum off.

    These two are very talented but I am not so impressed by drum solos in general.
    I feel drums shine when they make synergy with other instruments and by all mean they can stick out in a short solo but this is not so enjoyable.
    Think Senri is maybe a notch better from what I seen on normal acts.
    Have another favourite tho and that is MiMi that usually hang around with TGJ and she also sings well. Cheers!

    • @keymusic
      @keymusic Рік тому +6

      I think drum solos are basically there to show off someone’s chops so it’s good for a representation of technical abilities. I also used to think that Senri was better, but after watching a lot of Kanade’s stuff, I think they’re actually pretty equally matched. Senri is usually flashier and shows a little more technique in a lot of her playing, but I really like the slightly more understated style of Kanade and I actually find that more enjoyable sometimes. But they’re both monsters and definitely play drums better than I could in 100,000,000 lifetimes.

      否定をしないのがネット文化とはいえ、どうしてこのようなコメントが出てきたか考えることが本人の成長につながると思うのであえて言えば私も同意見です。
      どうしてそう感じたか考えたところ、二人ともドラムの叩く場所が雑で音が安定しない、また叩く場所で音が変わるのをあまり利用できていない、強弱もあまり効果的に使ていない。ほかにもありますが、これらから全体にのっぺりとした演奏となっているのが「面白くない」というコメントの原因と考えます。
      右の人はある程度できています。特にゆっくり目のドラムの時は聞かせるものがありました。
      総じて二人とも速くたたくことにこだわったせいか音楽性が感じられません。速弾きは音楽性がなければ騒音でしかないです。もしとりあえず速く弾けば観客がわくと考えているのであれば、それはお客さんを馬鹿にしています。
