I bet she is self trained .. only self training can give you this much of transparency over a subject! .. loved it Yogini.... 🙏

My teacher never showed me any movement to do in ashtanga yoga. She just always says to me use your bandhas. She is even no talking in Mysore class. It took so many years to go trough the sequences but it has been the most powerful process and journey. I still do not know how the practice of my teacher looks like, but I do know my practice, and I am so thankful I never had to compare my practice to her. You practice and all is coming. Her words. The truth. Now I know ❤️

Christina this is brilliant. Thank you. I think for me there's also a psychological element. I'm confronted with a lot of fear re balancing on the hands. I fear I might fall over myself. A silly fear perhaps but still a fear nonetheless. Also, if you read this could you confirm that the arms pretty much stay locked and not bent?

Thank you - very useful tips about body structure... how true we get some things for free, some things we have to work for! :)

Are we suppose to be good at handstand before trying this ?
Cause it seems scary that I will end up falling forward

Is it dangerous to land with straight arms like that though? Seems like a lot of shock is then absorbed in the joints (shoulder/elbow) rather than the muscles. I'd prefer to land in chatarunga with arms bent.

My backline isn't open enough for me to fold like that yet, my feet land about a foot or more sometimes behind my hands
