Nothing new. Every mole of natural gas converted into electricity converts into one mole of CO2, the same amount of CO2 if the natural gas is combusted.
You know humans breath out carbon dioxide, right? Co2 and water. That's what you expel and that's what this expels. It's cleaner than much anything else out there right now, plus, it is a great bridge technology between fossil fuels and green tech. These units can be set up to modulate solar power, so no need to burn fuel when there is sun. I know I'm late to your comment but just wanted to throw that in there.
Why only 3 comments? He said 80% efficiency! What beats that?
Bloom Energy is in that space
Im game. Let me know how much I need to invest.
Where are these fuel cells!!???

But wouldn't this be much cheaper than using electricity?
CO2 is not cyanide or nuclear waste. And the efficiency of electricity production is about 2 times better compared to the combustion
