It’s true you lose something and feelings in side of you die . Stayed that way with me for 20 months did not want to feel again anything but along came this women , I tried to not feel anything but over time I found myself having feelings for her wanted to run a mile but I stayed and 40 years later I’m so very glad I did . Still feel about her what I did back then so goes to prove you can find things again and they can be better . Thank you love

On another video I said I absolutely loved this melody very, very much. But, as in instrumental. I did play vocal versions and I didn't like them as much. Then, I found this! Tracy Huang sang this brilliantly and I was deeply moved. And, the interpretive story in this video expresses how the loving message can be felt by us in so many different ways. Well done.
Female singers with pitch perfect, crystal clear silky vocals tends to suffer a lack of emotional quality in their siging ... yet Tracy Huang's singing has always managed to come across as not just silky clear as crystal but also emotionally evocative and atmospheric, which is a rarity ...

@@88feji Thank you so much. I played them both. Beautiful. There is a young singer I'm following and I would love her to some day sing her version of Somewhere In Time. She's currently 14 yrs old (will be 15 in January, 2021). She won an adult Talent Contest in Norway when she was 7 yrs old. At 8 yrs old she sang What A Wonderful World at the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony in Oslo, Norway, in very cold weather. I don't have the link but go to: Angelina Jordan Nobel Peace Prize Contest (it's her channel). Also, go to: Angelina Jordan I'll Be There Sweden, and she's singing at a charity event. She had a cold but told her mother she didn't want to miss the opportunity to sing at the important event. This was also when she was 8. At my advanced age I thought I had heard all the contempory brilliant female vocalists --- until I "discovered" Tracy Y.Y. Huang. I lost count on how many times I played this song last few days. What a voice and what a treat! (I left a different comment a few days ago, but I can no longer find it now. Why?)
P.S. After searching about 10 videos I recovered my original comment. I now edit it slightly and leave it here for my memory:
"It is embarassing for me to admit that only days ago did I hear this rendition of the song as well as the name Tracy Huang, which led me to a search for information about her. My ignorance thus acknowledged, I am so proud to "find" such a Chinese singer --- her velvety voice, her impeccable enunciation of the English words, ... a worthy match for John Barry's music. I was quite familiar with the original lyric-less and had danced to it many times. How I wish I could meet Tracy somewhere in time and dance with her to this beautiful song!
Since the above comment was written (the date says 'a year ago'), I had gone over a vast collection of Tracy's songs and was richly rewarded. I also left not a few comments, which in retrospect were either naive or downright embarassing. So why another comment now? Well, you see the current video version has a solder story that betrays 'the type of love that can stand the test of distance and time'. The reason for the odd combination of the music and story is a puzzle that I simply am unable to solve. Perhaps some other fans can help?

As a piece of instrumental music SWiT is one of my favorites, but lyrics have added a new dimension to it, which is one reason I like this song so much. I very much would like to commision Brenda Foo to provide lyrics for another instrumental piece: Shostakovich's Second Waltz and have Tracy perform it. The diva sings mostly slow tempo songs but, as I had noted before, she did sing at least one song that is of Vienese Waltz tempo.
