The dimished chord sounds great! I try to use whenever i can. Or a half-dim chord.
I am a pianist who just got into composing and your stuff is sooo helpful!!
One another great masterclass!!
Sounds beautiful to me Tommaso. As I get deeper into the Chord Mastery course. As I write out the Triads I will become able to see the forms easier. I saved this for reference later after I get further along in the course. Always happy to see any video you give to us! God bless!
Thank you. Always looking for different ideas. Need to sit down with guitar and pen/paper, but I liked it a lot.
Thanks so much! I'm getting a lot out of this lesson. I've always done this by ear only, now I have a better understanding of how to make it work with less struggle finding the right chords my ears want to hear.
Really great stiff this. One I will certainly revisit a number of times.😍
Edit: lots of views, but very few comments. Seems a bit advanced for most, and that's understandable. Just wanted to say that these more advanced lessons are what I'm always searching for to further expand my vocabulary. I get that it doesn't bring the views and clicks as much (one more reason I am not in agreement with Capitalism). But I really appreciate when you throw in a more advanced lesson.
Thanks Tommaso.😊
Absolutely amazing
Great progression! Agreed with another commenter that this is a voice leading technique. Also the progression sounds very similar to the opening bars of the credo from Schubert’s mass in G major (but I think Schubert chose a different resolution)
This is Arcangelo Corelli, Op 6, No 1, V Allegro
Is this different than voice leading?
This is a possible application of voice leading, with a few tricks to make it sound better.

Why some notes/chords are minor and other major ? What´s the norm ? In teh first example: C and then Em (minor), Am (minor), Dm (minor) and G (major) and C ?
Good question. Playlist for you: ua-cam.com/video/WSB3iIkDy7o/v-deo.html&pp=gAQBiAQB
wait...how did i click into this. I got an email from you about using the circle of fifths BACKWARDS. here we are going clockwise as usual but using SUS chords in between. still sounds awesome but I am confused
In the usual direction, the G major chord would go to C major (etc). Here we go from the C major chord to the G major. chord (etc)
@@MusicTheoryForGuitar but going from G major (1 sharp) to C major (no sharps) is counter clockwise on the circle of fifths....i must be misunderstanding something
Which one is a "circle of 5ths progression"? (C) Am Dm G C or C G Am Dm?
Technically its a C lydian touch
