No, he hasn't been in our national team for quite a while now. I don't hate him, but I don't like him very much either. But still, in professional football one injury shouldn't be the cause of that much violence in a match. Getting injured is part of the game so it shouldn't be used as an excuse.

that was an awful match. i'm portuguese, n although we won the match, i hated it. becuz of that game, portugal and holland became the 2 teams with more yellow and red cards.
16 yellow (9 Portugal 7 Netherlands) 4 red (2 each). Both sides didn't get red straight away. All 4 players got 2 yellow cards before they were sent off.
