It is far more difficult to invent than it is to copy.
tbh master roshi is the only one ever shown to use the complete spiraling motion of the kamehameha. all the other characters use an abridged version.
there's also a big difference in OG DB between an improvised kamehameha and a refined one. idk about cell, buu, or goku black, but tien has never used a properly trained kamehameha, and goku & co. only learned it from master roshi after training under him for a while.
It took 35 years to create the movie projector but only 2 months for edison to copy it and patent it in America.
I’m pretty sure the Ox king was a failed student and he definitely didn’t know it. They had to bring Roshi to his burning castle to use the kamehama wave to put it out

The custom characters in Xenoverse 1 & 2 basically casually knowing all variants of Kamehamha from across the series (and I’m sure in other games that have custom characters probably have it too)
The Galick gun is more similar to the Dodonpa, but is still very much like the Kamehameha. Request:how many Kamehameha similar techniques are there?
That would be like how many energy waves are there, which is like a unique one per character

There’s Galick Gun, Kamehameha, Makankosapo (special beam canon), Dodon ray, Scatter Kamehameha, Final Flash, Final Kamehameha, Big Bang Kamehameha, Black Kamehameha, Buu Kamehameha, Evil Containment Wave and that’s... well about it (I haven’t watched GT so I’m sorry if I missed one)
Frieza doesn’t really name ANY of his moves
Cell basically took after all of the Z fighters
Buu used another for mhm of a Kamehameha.
Beerus doesn’t really use beam attacks.
Hit nor do many universe 6 warriors use BLAST attacks and if they do they don’t say their name unless you wanna count crush canon.
Against Goku Black he just used his own version of a Kamehameha.
And in TOP there… well there are beam attacks but they aren’t really announced.
In total if it’s canon there’s like 10
If non-canon there’s like 20+ maybe
(Don’t read this if you don’t want to) And if there are blasts in general then Nappa had like 3, Frieza has like 3, Zarbon has about 2, Dodoria has about 2, theres 1 in the Frieza force army. Spirit Bomb, Yamcha has 1, Krillin has 2, Tien has about 4, Piccolo has 2, Gohan (future and present) has 3, Buu has 9, Vegeta has 5, Trunks has 3, Goku has 1 that specifically isn’t stolen which is Dragon Fist, Beerus has like 3, Bardock has 1 (2 if you count the fake moon), Broly has 5, Gogeta has 3, Vegito has 4, Cabba has like 2, Hit has… like 3 considering how he assassinates, Android 18 has like 2, 17 has about 4, 16 has 1, 13 has like 2, Bojack and his crew equal up to 3, Cooler has 2, Baby has like 3? And there are like 30 different variations of ki blast attacks in TOP.
Counting up a total of at the very LEAST 127 (I didn’t watch GT and I’m probably missing a small handful)

Technically no but technically yes because they're minds are Goku and Vegeta's minds shared. The fusions have made their own moves but they already have gained knowledge from Goku and Vegeta so they really didn't learn it.
Technically Gotenks counts as well even though he hasn't used the Kamehameha. Goten still knows it (in his own form) so Gotenks could do it

If I remember correctly Roshi once said the Dodon Ray is the superior technique as the Dodon Ray was designed to kill which is ironic given the Kamehamehas kill count

I think that's a dubism. In the manga, he just says that Kuririn's off-the-cuff unpracticed Kamehameha couldn't compete with Chiaotzu's Dodonpa.

In the manga the color of the Kamehameha is not really mentioned, but they probably used yellow in the colored scans because, yellow contranst better with the color of the characters intead of blue

There is no reason why they wouldn't know how to do each other's move. They are exactly the same minus the form of the hands and color of the ki.
Seeing how freaking good both of them as fighters are, it is beyond reasonable to say they can do each other's moves. But why learn it when it is the exact same power output and power consumption?
I see way too many people who say Vegeta can't learn it because it's too hard. Completely ignoring him learning other moves on his own like Ki sense.

*adjusts glasses* erm, akshully, Galick Gun is the stronger attack, because someone calculated the strength of x3 Kaioken Kamehameha and the nessacary multiplier to Vegeta’s strength that Galick Gun would need to have to match it. Base Kamehameha has a multipler of 2.22x, while Galick Gun is approximately a x3 multiplier (the specific number is around x2.9, but at that point just round it to three, and considering Vegeta managed to push Goku back a tiny bit, it might actually be x3) to be fair tho, that’s really not a massive power difference, and aside from that they might as well be the same attack.

No, it was originally blue. Adult Gohan had a yellow version he used against Babidi and Dabura. SS4 Gogeta had a red version (I think). And Goku Black has the Black Kamehameha... which is pink...
If you really wanna be anal about it, you could say that it was originally black and white because it was in the manga before being animated in color...
