    New one has 2 condenser UNITS and condenser fan motor runs in reverse first 20 seconds to remove the dust on the condenser

    If the fans is not working. What's is the problem My friend?

    • @OcRefrig
      @OcRefrig  10 місяців тому

      Most likely scenario ( if it’s a freezer & more than 1 fan not working / all fans not working ) freezer is low on refrigerant or the compressor is not running at all. Evaporator must get to less than 50 degrees before fans come on on a freezer.
      Note: I am assuming u are talking about a freezer because u are on a freezer video.

    can someone elaborate "Design pressures" on reach-in cooler data plate
    what it means?
    example on Traulsen G22013TS [R-404A]
    Design Pressure HIGH Side 350 PSIG LOW Side 250 PSIG
    is this talking about Max pressure the system can withstand?
    Thanks

      @OcRefrig  4 роки тому

      Design pressure is the pressure a pressurized item is designed to, and is higher than any expected operating pressures. Due to the availability of standard wall thickness materials, many components will have a MAWP higher than the required design pressure.

    How check thermostat in the commercial refrigerator?

    • @OcRefrig
      @OcRefrig  6 років тому +2

      How to check a Thermostat in a commercial refrigerator.
      First of all --- Refrigeration system must be in good working order.
      1. unplug refrigerator.
      2. unload refrigerator at night.put all product in walk in cooler.
      3. Let refrigerator sit empty with doors open overnight. ( min 8hrs ) this will ensure any ice on evaporator has melted.
      4. Clean condenser of refrigerator so u can see daylight through it.
      5. Purchase / use a digital thermometer outside refrigerator with a type k thermocouple inside refrigerator to read temperature.
      6. Jump out thermostat wires at thermostat so Condensing unit Never stops cooling.
      7. Plug in Refrigerator.
      8. Verify fan(s) is/are running inside cooler.
      9. Close doors on refrigerator. on preparation tables seal tops with containers & saran wrap for testing. make sure doors seal and no air leaks.adjust doors if necessary. replace door gaskets if necessary.
      10. a Healthy Refrigerator should cool down to 35 Degree's within 30 - 45 minutes from 75 degree's. ( should pull down at slowest 1 degree every 2 minutes ) a Good Empty Refrigerator will Reach 35 degrees within 20-30 minutes. if Your Refrigerator does not cool to 35 degrees within the alloted time. You have a refrigeration problem. not a thermostat problem.
      11. if it cools to 35 degrees. Keep Reading.
      12. unplug refrigerator.
      13. Wait 5 minutes.
      14. Reconnect thermostat properly.
      15. set Thermostat dial at Number 5 for true refrigerators. all others set dial 1/2 way. / mid position.
      16. Plug refrigerator back in.
      17. Read Temperature
      18. Refrigerator should shut off around 35 degrees. wait for refrigerator to shut off. record shut off temperature.
      19. if unit never shuts off - Replace temperature control.
      20. when unit shuts off --- Record temperature. adjust clockwise for colder / counter clockwise for warmer.
      21. Now Wait 5 Minutes --- Recording temperature rise every minute. temperature should not rise quickly. no faster than 1 degree per minute.
      22. if temperature rises fast u have a door gasket Leak. Replace door gaskets.
      23. after 5 minutes if unit has not come on.
      24. open the door slightly to let in some warm air. very little we want temperature to rise slowly. then close quickly. watching the thermometer the refrigerator should come back on again at No Higher than 41-42 degree's. if Refrigerator starts cooling again at around 39-42 degrees and shuts off at 33-36 degrees your temperature control is Ok.
      25. if it Does not come on by 42 degrees. Replace temperature control.

    The first thing u should have done if u suspected the clock is Mark it ...... always !to check if it's turning now you'll never know

    • @OcRefrig
      @OcRefrig  6 років тому +1

      yea, marking it works, but u also have to see if it keeps correct time. just because a clock turns does not mean it is working correctly. i've seen them run slow, or stop and start turning and not go into defrost in the correct amount of time/ take 12 hrs to make a 6 hr turn. i guess u did not watch the whole video, i set the " correct time "and came back in 2 hrs and the clock kept correct time. thanks for watching.
