Had a guy from Virginmedia at the door so I signed up for M125 on the basis that as a 02 customer I would get double the speed 250 and could order pods after wards . Checking this morning that is not the case . So I was lied cancelling contract even before get it installed 😮

Due to circumstances beyond my control I had to cancel my tv with Virgin as I can no longer afford it. I was forced to continue under a cheaper tariff but I still can't afford it, I am still under contract but they wanted £250 to cancel. Couldnt afford it. I feel forced to stay on as they gave me no alternative.
Seeing as nobody listened I will take this further and am seeking advice.

Don’t sign a fixed contract if you can’t go through with it. Virgin Media are well within their rights to ask you to continue paying.
