I think my generation should respect the older generation, but at the same time it’s a lot of older folks out here that still act like teenagers and on top of that, some older folks are more disrespectful to us than we are to them.
I went to a birthday party with over 50 women there….. when I tell u the young chicks 18-25 only had 1-2 twerk sessions….. the 45-55 yr old chicks had maybe 8-9 twerk sessions and was actin up all night… even the young girls had to sit down and chill and was lookin at the older chicks crazy 😂
Finally the homie 2 Eleven getting his just due i been a fan of Duece from I ROBBED HIP HOP, PRODUCT OF THE STREETS 1 and 2 and everything since im glad he getting his respect in this game

Being in the same age group as 2 Eleven i was raised the same way in Chicago we all had to respect the old heads and OGs we was never out of pocket with them guys these young cats now especially where im from kill OGs and big homies now they straight Barnone and renegade
“As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.” Isaiah 3:12 WAKE UP PRODIGAL SONS AND DAUGHTERS!!
It was actually earlier before that it started when crack hit cause I’m from Newark NJ young mfs wasn’t respecting n the 90s n 2000s it’s really the same shit that’s going on it’s just cameras now we see it more on social media now and it was ways more murders back then that shows how bad it was back then
Like my pops a 81 yrs on earth man said living in long beach in 1960 that the pike was the place to be bring your girl and have fun but other cities were there representing peeps from Diego and close southern places with they ladies or girls the ones dissing geting at another girl it was squab
Tbh older homies, growin up, would sometimes get out and start disrespecting the little homies. I get it u just got out ur high power and full of politics, but ur coming out and telling the youngsters "why arent u doing this or that? Why aint yall handle business?" When we used to get shot at or going at it with rivals. The big homies would get disrespectful instead of hooking youngsters up with connects theyd leave em out naked. Ut goes both ways, the youngster i grew up talked back to the big homies saying "where were u at when they shot and killed such and such?" Thats when the big homies lost respect. U cant demand respect even if u just got out from prison. Any real og will tell u the same
That 70s baby generation dropped the ball. They left us with nothing. Atleast you can say the Generation before them put in the work to give us a better life. Even immigrants are benefiting from civil rights gen
You mean the baby boomers dropped the ball first and then the generations after. The civil rights generation were mainly the generation before the boomers.. The boomers were teenagers and also the ones that establish the gang mess and they actually created HipHop too.
@BattleTruth 70s babies like myself had very little supervision, crack came out when we were young teens, and alit of our parents fell victim to the epidemic. So did alot of 70s babies. We were the first crack babies. 😎
Each generation was targeted harder than the next by you know who. They spent unlimited resources to keep us divided and financially week. Them flooding our neighborhoods with crack is prime example
Stop whining we had to get our from the dirt ,most of yall are spoiled and killing each other, its either the dope they give and yall promote and do or the guns....we had them both but never let them get in our head like the shortys do and yall don't respect the game anymore part of the game is given...part is learned...if yall stop whining about what u weren't left and get it...u wouldn't have time to complain. U would be good. . Ie no man past or present makes us , we are all self made...if no one gave u that....then it ain't 70s babies.....its the game u ignored...because that is universal
It depends on the resume the Old head has. The youth recognize a real on when they see one who walks it like he talks it... Just look how many young Black Men are now with Trump after he got shot and popped up like a G...

When the old heads started acting like the youth, the balance of power shifted. Also loss of respect comes from watching the OGz fall off
100% when dudes over 40 start acting like clowns they don’t deserve respect
