►►► GAME DETAILS ◄◄◄
BioShock is a first-person shooter video game developed by 2K Boston (later Irrational Games) and 2K Australia, and published by 2K Games. The game was released for Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360 platforms in August 2007; a PlayStation 3 port by Irrational, 2K Marin, 2K Australia and Digital Extremes was released in October 2008, and an OS X port by Feral Interactive in October 2009. A mobile version was developed by IG Fun. The game's concept was developed by Irrational's creative lead, Ken Levine, and incorporates ideas by 20th century dystopian and utopian thinkers such as Ayn Rand, George Orwell, and Aldous Huxley, as well as historical figures such as John D. Rockefeller. The game is considered a spiritual successor to the System Shock series, on which many of Irrational's team including Levine had worked previously.

► I completed the "Lucky Winner" (Hit the jackpot at a slot machine) achievement separately, because you probably don't want to watch me play on the slot machine for 10 minutes :p You can see it at the end of the video.
► As I mentioned before, I plan to collect all the tonics in the game, so that's why I bought the Extra Nutrition tonic even though I have no use for it.
One of my favorite video game critics on UA-cam, Mark Brown, made a great video a couple of years ago, in which he's explaining why the Fort Frolic is one of the best (if not the best) levels in the whole Bioshock series. You can watch his video here (recommended only after you watch this episode): ua-cam.com/video/AffpO05p4V8/v-deo.html
Welcome to an evening with Sander Cohen :-]
I really enjoy watching you taking out many of the spider splicers that were charging you while Sander Cohen is playing a music in the background during where you show him the third photo and he went crazy because of someone doubting him
Next Stop Hephaestus
WTF when you killed Rodriguez with all those precisely placed trap bolts. That was legendary.
I concur- that's equal parts brilliant and sadistic. To be fair, Rapture's full of warped souls, so it's more like you tidied up the mess a troublemaker was creating. That was fairly impressive.
4 years later im here to say: you're a genius man, your gameplay is art, and u deserve more recognition. Greetings from Portugal.
Thank you :D
@@patologTV No need to thank me, you deserve it ;)
You are right. Its just perfect. Greetings from Austria. :D
52:47 You know exactly where he appeared and direction lmao. That cracks me up xD
They way he just go through the trap and the finale with explosion then the comment shows up. Comedy gold
Oh yes, it's that time again; creepiest, if not the most favored level in the game!
I'm re-watching this after some time, and just realised that Patolog is actually waltzing with the Splicers to the song here:
1:04:14
If that was intentional, that's genius!
Yeah, I was trying to, but I'm not much of a dancer :D
Do you know the song's title?
@@artyomxiii Dance of the flowers by tchaikovsky
The dancing was amazing. I can’t imagine the skill it takes to do that but dang he nailed it. It made me smile.
"How much is the doggie in the window" they slowed the song down and did several subtle things to the tune, to make it sound extra kreepy. It's so out of place that it immediately creates that surreal (David Lynch) atmosphere and tension. Really well done.
It doesn’t sound creepy to me. So is it just me or?
Shut up it's not that good it's just a slowed down song
The way you direct the camera around to let us see every detail. Thank you! You did a great job! I can't imagine how long it must have taken you to make it look so crisp.
1:04:10 That combat was fucking beautiful.
I could never listen to Waltz Of The Flowers the same way ever again thanks to this game.
I'm from Brazil, I love your Channel ❤
57:53 This design and aesthetic used to creep me out so much, part of the reason Fort Frolic is so remembered for me is these creepy jump scare interactions. The clay Spider Splicer enemies remind of the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who
BRO SAME
I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT OF THE WEEPING ANGELS
Now that you mention it, I do see the resemblance. Talk about creepy.
Just came across your walkthrough. It's perfection. I love how you take your time through each level, but you don't waste time with useless stuff. You really did my favorite level justice. Great job!
12:24 "Dory, I think we should ask for directions."
1:05:40 Even the enemy is triggered by him just showing his face there. They wants to kill him, that's how much this man is hated.
Also funny thing. Nobody there but himself. So as a grand entrance either he just activated the confetti or he prepare it to appear everytime he comes in.
I feel like Cohen would probably get along well with the Joker.
It's pretty crazy how good this games visuals and level design hold up even in 2023. My favourite game of all time for a reason, awesome gameplay!
I actually just now got the "Lucky Winner" achievement at 6:35; which was extremely lucky for me!
Great Job! I had a lot of trouble with the elite bouncers on this level because I hadn't bought any health upgrade (Saving for track slots and tonics) so the elite bouncers could one shot me with one of their melee attacks. Fortunately, security command over powered.
Your mouse movement seems fluent and smooth. I've seen other PC players walkthroughs and their mouse movements seem blocky.. do you use an expensive mouse with better tracking or something? Or is it purely technique? Your mouse movements have a extremely smooth Cinematic feel to them.
I focus a lot on the mouse movement to keep the videos nice to watch. It's something I improved over time, it took awhile until I developed the proper technique, as it is not natural to play like this. Also a big mousepad and low mouse sensitivity helps :-)
@@patologTV Lon sens.. No wonder why you keep headshotting with the pistol.
@@patologTV i think they fixed/adjusted 'mouse acceleration' with the remastered edition, compared to the original?
@@patologTV it was so smooth, that at the beginning of the playthrough, i thought you were using a controller.
this is what i call “perfection” run !
I was hoping you'll turn this masterpiece of a level into an even greater masterpiece: you really surpass expectations during Cohen's outburst. *applause
The part where Cohen makes U fight the splicers while Waltz of the Flowers from The Nutcracker Suite playing in the background reminds me so much of Fantasia. I Don't know why but I think it's because my favorite animated movie of all time is Fantasia & my favorite game of all time is Bioshock but all in all this is my favorite level of the game & seeing U do it makes it even more better my friend.😁
@@michaelandreipalon359 What was your favorite segment from the original? Mine was The Rite of Spring which tells the story about the origin of life on earth, from the formation of the planet 2 the age & death of the dinosaurs & yours?
@@michaelandreipalon359 I'm probably gonna say The Tyrannosaurus killing The Stegosaurus. Because, at least in The Land Before Time, Sharptooth got his comeuppance, but in Fantasia, Rexy the 1 who emerges on top, but it was just trying 2 survive.
@@michaelandreipalon359 But the 1 part that frightened me the most in that segment was when we first C the Rex where lightning is striking in the background. Boy did that scare me as a small child. Back when Disney had balls, well more balls than ever now. I 💜 U Amphibia & The Owl House.😁
@@michaelandreipalon359 Yeah, they sure do.
This may be the best walkthrough I have ever seen.
You need more recognition for your work pal. I've only been watching your Bioshock walkthroughs so far but they are definitely the best walkthrough videos I've seen in all my life. Amazing stuff. I look forward to watching your other game walkthroughs after Bioshock.
I remember one of the issues I had with this game was switching between plasmids, weapons, and ammo types all on the fly in the middle of a crazy battle. I don't know how you do it without a missing a beat lol That entire sequence starting at 42:43 for taking down the big daddy I would have been fumbling between keys making me nuts
Best walkthrough videos on UA-cam. My favorite part of the game.
OMG hilarious how Rodriguez died in the trip wires...
Your mouse movements make this feel like a god damn robot played the game
That song, Behold the Sea was played in Finding Nemo & Dr. Suess's Green Eggs & Ham on Netflix, which is an amazing show on there.
45:59 crazy splicer on the glass roof
BRAVO! I was going to set this is the background while writing, however your ability and technique left me simply enraptured (ba-dum-tsss), I ended up just watching this video as opposed to listening. you truly are talented!
Thanks :D
I'll never forget Finnegan's audio log: "And the iceman cometh, Sander baby. The iceman fucking cometh."
12:19 Literally the best music in the game
I remember playing this when I was 9 years old and being terrified by this whole level specifically
The Little Sister´s face looks like the Omega´s face from Star Wars Clone Wars and Star Wars The Bad Batch.
I just finished this level! Sanders Cohen got his ass handed to him.
Nice, although if you let him live in this level, you get to meet him again later in Olympus Heights and you will be able to enter his room - there is even an achievement for that.
@@patologTV Oh no! I played more and im in Olympus Heights right now :(
A guy tested Cohan's musical bit here and it was called pure torture. It's borderline impossible to play properly and it will hurt you to try.
i dont have the time to whatch all of it but from what ive seen so far good job
Thanks.
Haha, I love that third Bir Daddy fight like an hour in, when the Bouncer takes one subtle step to the right (to the player's left) and that round of electric buckshot misses. You can FEEL the tension in the air, because if that big bastard managed to tag him, he'd have to restart the entire dang level.
That is one sexy-looking shotgun. Still have no clue what it's based on.
One of my fav levels because its puts Cohen as though boss in middle of game.
Oh that comment from Cohen when you jump to balcony was unexpected, devs done good job here.
1:12:
oh dear :(
"epstein the swami!"
"darling, just close your eyes and hope it's over quickly!"
disturbing.
Lmao with modern context it sounds really bad
I keep forgetting that the Chemical Thrower is such a good weapon.😎 It's like a Flamethrower, a Tesla Cannon, & a Cryro Gun all rolled in 1.😎
Greetings from Peru.
Your walkthrough is helping me kill it on Survivor. Cheers!
17:00
Why do I find that hilarious?
Fly away, Little Moth
Dance, Dance!!!!!!
I closed my eyes to listen to the Songbird Easter Egg (?) when Fitzpatrick was playing for his life. Even WAY back to the original version it was there….did Ken Levine plan things THAT far in advance? 😳
Yeah, I heard people talk about this detail when Bioshock Infinite came out, but no, Levine didn't plan that far ahead, this has been debunked :D The sound you are referring to can be heard many times throughout Bioshock's campaign, it's just one of the ambient sounds used in the game. It does sound like Songbird though :)
I want to get off sander cohen’s wild ride
ROFL
I do like the clock works on the Crossbow when U upgrade the damage on it.😎 I just 💜 the little attention 2 details of these things in games.😁
I feel so dumb I went up to the elevator but didn’t know I had to press a button hahaha
1:04:09 This is fucking surreal.
Fort Frolic was the level they'd used in the E3 presentation, all the way back in 2006.
Dancers on a string my favorite 2:58
You are the best
Bruh I never knew you could break the health refillers to get a free medkit.
Wow nice video man how much hours do you spend to get a perfect video ??
A lot :-)
52:46 - 52:50, he missed one.😂
master play respect
My favorite part 12:20
This level I remember after finding out that supposed dead splicers weren't always dead I started bullet checking every corpse I saw going forward.
Awesomeness bloodshed
Think you could do a Burial at Sea playthrough? I LOVE your bioshock playthroughs bro.
Yep, I plan to play Bioshock Infinite and its DLC's :)
I got 2 question, if I may ask:
1. How do you drop something when you're holding something via telekinesis?
2. How can you change your weapons so quickly?
1. I think you drop items by pressing "E", but I'm not sure if it's default setting or if I changed it.
2. I play on PC, so I have a designated button for each weapon/plasmid :)
I play on PC too, but I never figured out how to change weapons/plasmids so effectively. Even those nasty Big Daddies are no match for you. Awesome gameplay, by the way - how many times you tried that to achieve a non-damage run? It seems your videos are not edited, so you played at least whole levels without a single save... just a guess...
@@Andynox Yeah, it took a lot of practice. I spend over 200 hours in the game while making this walkthrough, according to Steam.
Yeah, it looks like you know exactly what to do, what enemies to expect, etc. Since the first release I played Bioshock only 3 times on easy, and 2 days ago I finished the gameplay on survival, but it was a pain in the arse! :D Pity you don't have a Bioshock 2 no damage run - I'd like to see that too. ;)
@@Andynox I will play Bioshock 2 as well in the future :-)
1:05:40
Anyone find it funny that an alarm was going off during his speech
And explosions going off in the background
More annoying than funny, that fucking alarm always show up, during speech or audio diaries lol
how can u open the gate at 24:00 ?
I played the Evil Within series before I discovered the Bioshock Series. Anyone else feel like Stefano from EW2 was inspired by Cohen?
The way the Bouncer attacked the Target Dummy, reminds me of Opposing Force, were if U use the Teleporter in a certain location, You'd B teleported 2 the HEV hazard course were a vortigaunt would B seen attacking the HEV training hologram.😂🤣
25:51 Imagine if that was me strapped 2 those explosives whenever I have 2 do a long division test. I'd probably end up dying anyways because I couldn't do long division 2 save my life.😨
My favorite chapter in the game & Sander Cohen is 1 crazy mofu.
Jack is god
Do you know that there is an extra little sister in this level.
19:48 - 19:53 your just like “really?”
Question. I’m replaying this on my ps4 and I don’t have the fancy pistol you have, the newer one and I was wondering if i somehow missed it or if it’s different for the ps4 and I will get it later.
Oop nevermind yours is just upgraded i’m stoopid
Alright, which long range weapon is better in all 3 of the Bioshock games? The Crossbow, The Harpoon Gun, or The Sniper Rifle? Let me know in the comments, alright.🙂
so this level is to Bioshock what Shalebridge is to Thief...am I right?
Yeah, I think you could say that, both are iconic levels.
I love youre walkthrough man i suggest you to play hitman and batman series
I was literally just looking for the speeches with Coen 💓 >///< [I'm so sorry he's so cute] ANDD MARTIN
Rodriguez had no fucking chance
Cohen attacked me for no reason or a least i don't remember doing anything to him
Any thoughts on Cyberpunk 2077 if your into RPG's like Zevik does with Mass Effect?
Yeah, it looks good, but I think it will take a few years before they release the game :)
And a few years to prepare for such a game. No doubt they will make ingame choices with consequences. Actually, I am still can't find REALLY GOOD walkthrough for Witcher 3
Сергей Пончиков maybe MikeyRog shown some Really Good walkthrough! 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
No, thanks. I know about him, dude. Quality of video for Witcher's walkthrough is pretty lame and he missed some things here and there, so it's not Really Good. :)
Сергей Пончиков XCV?
What's the trick for the photos? (Not the Sander Cohen quest) I mean in general? When do you take pics when don't you?
Is it better to rescue or harvest the little sisters? Why ?
rescuing them is better , though initially you get lesser Adam from the LS, later on Tenenbaum will reward you by sending goodies including large amount of Adam , plasmid , and cash. Rescuing the Little sisters will allow you to get the good ending as well.
The only reason you would give for harvesting them is if you wanted to buy every Plasmid off of the vending machine, as it's not possible to buy them all that way. Besides, are you that heartless to kill a little girl for your own benefits?
@@ladylunaginaofgames40 yep I do it every play through
Doesn't Cohen sound a little like Jeremiah Fink from Infinite?
29:39
22:03 - surprise sign in russian o_O
1:05:30
What? you can sprint? 🤨
You can't?
О_О

I don’t remember the artist at all
What a weirdo
