That was unexpectedly very sad. I'm surprised at how much emotion this invoked in me. It seems that just by a simple, but extremely well executed series of drawings, I am more invested in Claire and her cats than I ever expected. This is beautifully done by a talented artist... but please, might we have happy playful cats next time?
