ChuChu is a grazer - she likes to eat a little bit at regular intervals. My Willow is the same way. As long as they maintain a healthy body weight and don't overeat, it's perfectly fine to leave food out for them to come back to at any time. Ofc with a cat like LuLu in the house, you'd need a way to have it only be accessible to ChuChu. My partner's brother has cats like that. He installed a smart cat door that only unlocks for a cat with a specific electronic collar on. That way he keeps Detura from stealing all of Archie's food.
Smart idea, but it doesn’t seem like she’s very keen on collaring her cats, so she’ll probably have to chip them instead, if she hasn’t already

I feel sorry for ChuChu. She's such a gentle cat, and I think she had a rough time before Claire took her in. Sometimes you can tell that she's a little different and need more attention.

Chuchu isn't being picky, she's just a grazer. She'll eat until she's satisfied, and attempt to save the rest for later, if her meal is left where it is, she'll go back to it when she's hungry again and finish it off.
One of my cats, Jinks, is a grazer, he'll come in for dinner at a certain time, eat half of his meal, then wander off to let it digest before coming back to it later
The other cat, Sadie, is a guzzler, who will eat her whole bowl like she hasn't eaten for the past 2 days, and the rest of Jinks' if I don't put his bowl up where she can't get to it.
Jinks will come to me when he's hungry again, meow at me, I'll put his bowl back down, and he'll happily polish off the rest of his food.
Try doing something similar for Chuchu, save the food she doesn't eat, and when she comes to you for food later, just give her what she leftover from before.

also i think calico cats tends to eat less but more often. same thing happens with my calico cat too.
but the problem is their siblings are eyeing their food lol
My cat is the same way, she's a grazer so I leave the dry food out for her all day (she's an only cat so it's much easier for us to do that lol). ChuChu definitely looks like a cat who wants to eat on her own schedule as compared to the other cats.

그러고보니 예전에 고부해였던가 티비프로그램에서 다묘가정에서 다른 고양이의 밥을 뺏어먹는 고양이를 위한 솔루션으로 센서가 달린 밥그릇이 나온 걸 본 적이 있어요. 센서가 달린 목걸이를 하고있는 고양이가 가까이 다가가야 뚜껑이 열리는 밥그릇이었는데... 물론 루루라면 하루24시간 밥그릇 옆에 대기타고 있다가 츄츄가 밥먹으러 오면 머리 디밀어 뺏어먹을 것 같지만............
디디도한없이먹는타입이라고들었던것같아요뺏어먹을것같진않지만

I sympathize with chuchu, some of us dont like to eat a big meal all at once. Grazing throughout the day helps to not feel bloated.

I've never seen a cat beg so softly like that. What a sweet cat. Usually it would be angry meowing or wailing from my cats hahaha.
Also, some cats are grazers. Like humans, cats have different digestive preferences. Some prefer to eat in frequent but small amounts at a time. It's stressful for them to be forced to eat beyond what they're comfortable with.

Chuchu is really a princesse. She never eats at the time she is supposed to eat, She has priviledge access to claire's bedroom to eat while the other cats instead eat in the kitchen and lastly, When she wants something she knows how to use her cuteness to get it

Chuchu is like my female cat. She can only eat in small frequent feedings. If I try to do scheduled feeding, she won't be able to finish the normal amount.
I think it turns out Chuchu is more of a soft food eating cat. She also likes to eat on her own schedule. Slowly, and with short rest periods in between eating her food.
