There was also a point where a villain erased Sentry from existance, and he just learned how to bring himself back moments later.
Morgan-le-fay went back in time and probably killed him as a child in the dark avengers story

I think Superboy Prime is so powerful because he’s basically the Silver Age Superman. After Crisis On Infinite Earths, Byrne depowered Superman but Prime would have existed before the universe changed. He still has the ridiculousness of Silver Age Superman’s outrageous power scale.
I've read comments claiming SBP doesn't tier with either SA Superman OR SA Superboy. I've read a good portion of SBP stories, not all of them so I might have missed something, but I've never read anything from the actual writers even remotely suggesting SBP was inferior in any way. He's a Pre-Crisis Kryptonian from the Earth Prime universe, and he was not affected, personally, by C.O.I.E ; so there's no reason to rank him lower than other PRE-CRISIS, Silver Age kryptonians...if there is, I've never read it. I say SBP is AT LEAST a match for SA Superboy, and when FULLY MATURE, will match SA Superman. Then what about SBP getting the Guardian Amp? It made him fully mature and INSANELY powerful! He overpowered andTORTURED Mr Mxytlplk, a FIFTH DIMENSION BEING...could SA Superman do that? He made CAMP, walking around FREELY on the SOURCE WALL...could SA Superman do that? I say SBP is a FULL POWERED, SILVER AGE, PRE-CRISIS KRYPTONIAN in every way!!!

@@memberofthecourt920 Cause he wasn't pushed to the brink of death vs hulk, and it didn't sense such a strong possible ally in hulk, as hulk isn't nearly as powerful or crazy as superboy. And I'm not entirely sure either of them (sentry or superboy) can die, considering what they have both lived through

You mentioned that the reason for Superboy-Prime being so much more powerful than Superman was never really explained. Not true. Superman from Earth-One and Superboy from Earth-Prime were extremely powerful before the Crisis. After the Crisis on Infinite Earths, Superman's power was greatly reduced (John Byne.) His powers ticked up a bit over time (Dan Jurgens) but never back up to pre-crisis levels. When they reintroduced Superboy from Earth-Prime, he was still at those ridiculous pre-crisis power levels. Superman back in the '60s and '70s was an absolute beast in terms of power. That's Superboy-Prime.

Actually he’s already back. He was seen in the Shazam comic issue #10. It showed he was imprisoned at the Monsterland’s Dungeon of Eternity.
We don’t know how he got there but he’s there imprisoned with a red solar sun orb until some idiot tricked by Superboy Prime put it out and allowed him to escape.
Every time I can think of the Sentry being defeated he made the decision to put him self down. Even when Thor killed him he allowed it to end. I just don't see Superboy Prime having the tool set to destroy the Sentry with out him deciding he should die. That is still from what I can tell just the Sentry's disembodied consciences saying to it self over and over "I'm dead".

Most people fail to understand that the Sentry only stalemated the Hulk because the hulk CONVINCED the Sentry to revert back to normal because he felt himself slipping away into the void.
It's so upsetting because people who only focus on character feats always overlook the story
I think that all stems from the fact that after they both reverted back, Robert pretty much collapsed, and Bruce was left standing. Then when you compound that with fact that moments later Bruce went right back into WBH mode, it gives people the impression that Sentry couldn't handle the Hulk.
Also Hulk was holding back
Its inconsistent to say that Sentry's Universal+ feats are nullified by his fight with hulk, Hulk is much more of an outlier then the Galactus feat, Seeing as Sentry has defeated Blue Marvel, and Molecule Man, its safe to assume he couldve stalemated Galactus, and that he was holding back against hulk.

Morgan lefay has the book of the life, which is essentially the book of the existence itself written by the one above all, if you change something there, the life, after life or existence of that person or thing will change forever, it was said that the only ones invulnerable to this "law" per say were the one above all, the beyonder pre retcon, the beyonders and the living tribunal, but as you see in dark avengers, sentry was able to come back like nothing, even though he's nothing after he was erased from the book. That's really inside and gives more credibility to the rumors that he's one of the omnipotent beings in the marvel omnivers, along with the one above all, the beyonders, beyonder pre retcon and the molecule man with the power of the beyonders. Also quick note. The sentry who fought against world breaker hulk wasn't sentry, it was Robert Reynolds. Sentry has 3 personas.
1 : Robert who is his human side and doesn't know how to use his powers
2 : sentry is his heroic persona, the one who fights for the good and knows his powers
3 : the void who is his dark persona and is basically the real person of who is Robert Reynolds and knows a lots of things

Agree with this outcome. Prime has beaten up multiple kryptonians, numerous heroes, most of the Green Lantern Corps, and the Sinestro Corps at the same time. He curb stomped the Anti Monitor. Tanked the blast caused by a Guardian detonating himself. The list just goes on and on. I've not seen anything on this level from Sentry.

I know Superboy is more mainsteam which is why Rob picked him but seriously, Superboy has no defense against half of Sentrys abilities. Its a walk for Sentry at full power.

Superboy has also been taking out by Shazam and Black Adam as a 2 man team. Superboy also has lost to the Teen Titans. Sentry has went against the Collective, Molecule Man, Photon, Galactus, Sentry has also battle all the heroes of Marvel in his last Issue when the Silver Surfer had to help rebalance the Sentry by remerging him with Reynolds. They'd be a really good fight feat wise but i got to go with who has more tools at the same tier level.

Galactus is a universal threat while Anti monitor is a multiversal threat. Prime represented the era of superman at his strongest when superman could do whatever he wanted with no limits or need for scaling. And if I had to guess how he revived people long dead and shifted reality with a single punch, It would probably be the effects of essentially fracturing a "version" of heaven.

I have always believed that the Sentry Vs WWH fight was more plot armor from Hulks side given it was his story, Void never appeared or Sentry didnt get back up despite having shown he can come back from death let alone a beating physically. Plot armor? Hulk has been established to be the physically strongest hero who is a representative of the one below alls anger. He has destroyed a dimension, destroyed planets with the shockwaves of his punches, was destroying umars realm, held the weight of a star, defeated onslaughts physical form which no other person on earth could even effect. No you down play hulk while he was holding back against sentry. Sentry had an aura literally engulfing New York and it was stated by him and other characters he was going all out like never before. World breaker hulks villains who are regular hulk and silver Surfee level were getting disintegrated being close to hulk. I believe the unspoken variable is that although they power is pretty much equal, Superboy Prime has no restraint, whereas Sentry is constantly focusing on self control to hold back the Void. And on that note, although Superboy Prime would win, the Void would than break free and kill Prime anyways.
