When I see they assigned operators(?) in facilities to work, it's just comes to my mind naturally that "Oh this is Arknights after all" people have to work no matter where they at lol
I think it is agood feature to add this since you only have 4 operators you will use in the squad, and those will not be chosen will not be just idling in the storage, but into the factories and mines they go. No work, no food to eat, they need to work. Imagine if Endfield will have a number of roster like of AK, up to 400+ operators and they are all working in the factories or the mines, that would be epic.
The interaction part is what I like the most. It makes the world feels lively and immersive. Also, seeing your own operators walking around and interact with each other will shows more of their personality than just simple combat or archieve voice line.
Out of all the analysis, Kyo is the best and complete because of his understanding of Chinese and participation in technical test. I hope he will get into the beta test again

I'm so happy AK stay true to their identity having these complexity in the combat and base building just like in RA. Can already see myself braining in real time during the combat. Everything just feels like how you'd play AK and better
Absolutely loving that you can walk around the base and see your operators in action, that they fight, mine and farm together, and that they talk while you’re out exploring! The little emojis above their heads are so cute ❤ Details like this seem so small but they have such a huge impact in bringing your characters to life, making them feel like part of the world and like a team of real people instead of robots who never acknowledge each other’s existence. Been playing Arknights for 5 years - I’m so excited for Endfield!

I really like how clean the interface is, arknights never disapoint in this regard and being able to see the 4 characters of your squad in game is so much more lively than genshin or wuwa. This game is really going with a great start.
the new statistics with the icons are likely the factory affinity buffs (or whatever you call them), for example perlica has the book icon highlighted, so maybe if you put her in the command center she speeds up some things by a bit, just like with operators in arkinghts, although this would also mean we didn't see the full mechanics of how factory production works in endfield.
Can't wait to do stage 1-7 in 3d. Though HG probably wouldnt add a method to get orundumb for free like in AK. My concern is how fast the resources/mobs would regenerate. Besides some ore deposits that u can build an extractor machine on. Some resources would be limited. Idk if it would refresh after a duration, after restart game, after new day and whether we can join someone else's world to "borrow" those resources when they aren't looking

Chances are high. They have Perlica riding the bike in the tech test, and Liduke (the main illustrator for Endfield) has several concept drawings of motorbikes. Let's wait and hope for the best.
This is the first time i actually can see myself enjoying this game. The last several times i looked at it I couldn’t see any potential and the combat looked flat. Now I can see many possibilities. I still don’t know how much I’ll like the core combat. But 3d tower defense sounds awesome
I love that the Endministrator talks to his/her operators while doing things out in the world The potential with this game is huge. Eagerly looking forward to it's release
The game is having a lot of similarities with an indie game called rift breaker. The main combat is action based yet you can build turrets etc to assist you and theres also factory and resource management elements as well. Too anyone curious go look it up.
I friggin' LOVE the interaction and affection parts in the base, this is finally what we desperately needed in Arknights - the base is out of beta, after all these years! And those new locations and interaction with objects in the open world are just awesome. Weapon stats/upgrades is the part I like the least, it gives me too many bad flashback to those times I was an active L2 player, and some other standalone games where weapon upgrading was a real chore. If this will be combined with weapon gacha, it will be the most frustrating part of the game... And factory building... *awakes my inner SpaceChem/Factorio engineer* THE FACTORY MUST GROW! OPTIMIZE! OPTIMIZE ALL! OPTIMIZE EVERYTHING!

I really wanna see how the weapon system works. In regular games low rarity stat sticks are amazing, same how low rarity can be good in Arknights. But in gachas like Genshin Impact there are only 3 to 7 depending on who you ask good low rarity stat sticks, even then most of them have niche uses
Arknights has gone full circle from a tower defense game, it got a semi-open world with base building game mode. Then we now have Endfield, a semi-open world game with base building, with a tower defense game mode.
Well this bring a good mechanism and of course a direct meta like hyper carry that have basic attack main damage and the others gonna be buffer or else.
I wonder if "immortal / long living" operators we have at Arknights are going to show up as well in Endfield I mean we have the clones of Angelina, and Snowshine? here already but honestly if they go the clone routes, I just want my SilverDaddy to schwing schwing in 3d

About the quick time events, they show up after a heavy attack, which you do after a couple of basic attacks
On my hands and knees begging and praying I get into the beta
Having playable characters following us is cool, them and NPCs appear in the base is huge, the ship looks so lively.
