I like Kristen’s suggestion of having a counselor/therapist on the show partly to emphasize the importance of marriage because it does sometimes seem as if it’s trivialized on some of these shows.

Why are we criticizing people for bringing up essential topics before marriage? Spending habits and children? They are absolutely right to talk about their expectations on those things. They only got few weeks until the wedding day. We always criticize how they don't talk about important stuff, Tiffany and Chelsea are definitely doing that
I so agree about the part where you said these types of shows specifically pick men of color who prefer white women. As an Indian it's so frustrating to see these types of men take up the representation spot when there are so many Indian men who appreciate their culture and prefer to marry within their race. It almost feels like these shows are subliminally trying to reignite the racist narrative that whiteness is the ultimate preference for everyone. At this point I'm so traumatized by people like Shake, that I don't even want representation because who are they representing? A miniscule portion of the population?
In the pods, Chelsea is talking about how she wants to have a spiritual relationship with her husband’s body when they have sex. He loves that, so she says, great let’’s go. He thinks she means let’s get down to having sex and she corrects him: no, I meant let’s straight to getting married. The writing was already on the wall.
What Kwame sees in Micah is the chase. Challenge. She plays games and he likes. Chelsea is too devoted. He's actually similar to Micah, who keeps playing with him just because she likes to know his into her.. she likes t9 be chosen.
I disagree with the ladies about Bliss and Zach. I think she's forgiven him his mistake, respects him, and I really see a love connection. Compared to pre-Bliss Zach seems so much at peace when he looks at her. It's beautiful ❤
Tiffany works at Amazon corporate as a recruiter so it’s not like she doesn’t make any money. Seattle is just super expensive so she gives off makes great # not as much as Brett but is frugal

Tiffany’s giving off a sense that, in a future where they shared money (even if it was mostly his), she would disapprove of his choices. It’s a different form of ick, where she is low-key turned off by a man who wants to spend $$ on luxuries, whereas maybe she comes from a world where you save up for a house or for children.
But he's a single man so he's enjoying his money but I bet he can shift his spending into saving more for a family. My husband was like this when we met and in 17 years I have never worried about finances because he's excellent with money.
