If you have to come into a space and say those people/them and not us/we... You are not speaking from experience, you are speaking observationally. We have had yt allies do this a lot in 1st nation spaces latley and its very disrespectful and detrimental. No men are not experts on womens experiences unless theyre trans men who lived femme presenting and DO in fact have that experience. I guess what I was saying was it felt like, according to Marissa's comment, it was futile for any man to participate, even observationally, in conversations about women's issues. But thank you, this is a valuable perspective and I'm glad you've share it.
Poor Marissa was willing to give up a lot of herself and boundaries for Ramses and yet he was willing to give up nothing for her, not even willing to continue exploring a dating relationship with her. I feel like Love is Blind exploited Marissa's tears to fill up their almost empty wedding episode. Tsk. Hope she shines at the reunion.

The reunion will be very interesting if a lot of these people get their feet held to the fire. This season gives us a lot of flawed characters wonder which ones will take some accountability. I hated Ramses bs line to Marissa, " it's not you it's me"..Ughs she saw through his lines in that moment.
Great video! This type of pretend-vulnerability is so hard to combat when you're an empathetic person. You don't want to make them feel worse, so whatever valid criticism you give them and however hurt you're feeling by their actions is drowned out as they make it about them and you end up comforting them instead. If you haven't had people like this in your life it might be hard to see it. It's a subtle manipulation.
Totally. It’s hard enough to explain to yourself, let alone other people. Especially if you happen to look angry, or *are* angry, and they’re over there in the corner looking injured. The worst.

Ramses sounds like a head case and needs intense therapy. Marissa is really not ready for marriage yet. Her marriage criteria is very immature and probably the root cause of her choosing the same type of men like Ramses. Maybe picking a Cancer Leo Leo should not be considered as husband material.
I also think that Marissa’s approach to marriage is entirely different from Ramses’ and maybe from most people’s. I can relate to being dedicated in marriage even when you’re not happy. I did that, too, a long time ago, and it preserved our marriage when my husband got cancer. And even then, it was he who left. I don’t think it’s naive or immature to be ready and expecting tough times in marriage, but I do believe Marissa’s devotion was not reciprocated by Ramses, not even close. Edit: and I also believe this is part of why she kept asking him if he was sure. Because she was in it for the long haul. Pretty sure I saw she made a TikTok about that, addressing this idea of her “begging.”
