- The internal investigation into the GPD officers involved in the two violent incidents last month is ongoing. Sources close to the investigation confirm the same officer who pulled the trigger in that Mangilao car chase was also involved in the alleged police brutality incident captured more than two weeks ago. But as Matsuki Hirayama reports, the police chief admits he still has yet to identify himself who the officer was in that video.
This is why we need body cam for the officers and all staff in GPD. They should not have the ability to turn off the body cam at will. And then claim officer safety. If you want safety, do not apply for a job that is hazardous. Stay home and be safe. Food for thought.
Why is it alleged when it show the individual faced down on the ground and he walks by and kicks his face his hands behind his back 🤔🤦
Anyone remember that incident at Maine. When they chased truck with dark tint and shot through because it was so dark. My sources told me that windows were rolled down. So how was tint a factor. No body cares! Poor kid. Also his family.
Forget the cameras. Make them all take a polygraph administered by a neutral party.
Good job GPD. Holding officers accountable. Way to go.
1) - I agree with @ leocepeda4925 about making GPD officers all wear body camera’s. Including having camera’s installed in the Questioning rooms. And with the Mandatory order from the courts and the Legislature of NO QUESTIONING OF WITNESSES OR SUSPECTS without working cameras. Cameras must also be installed in all Guam Police stations to record at all times of the day and night. This is to also provide protection for our GPD officers and staff.
Kung fu cops.
